Does a difference of 11 total commits, move the needle much on the overall rankings?

In the grand scheme of things, it means nothing.  

247 for example uses "the bell curve"

It's basically the bell curve of a team's whole lot of player ranks.  So I would think player rank is really important to set a curve. And the more the sample size the better for the curve? 

I'm guessing CTA's player rankings weren't that high compared to Coach Cig's. Who knows.
