Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 30, 2024 Author Posted March 30, 2024 I don't know the whole background on the event but Beckham's high school team competed in The Throne which its X bio reads: The High School Basketball National Championship created for the players, by the players. Hebron Christian won the event with a win over a team from New York. Banksyrules 1 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted June 10, 2024 Author Posted June 10, 2024 Indiana: I think their playing style really fits me. I love their culture and how they coach. I'm a past-first and team-first kind of player and that's how they play. They also play in a lot of pick-and-rolls which matches the way I play." WayneFleekHoosier, mamasa and Banksyrules 3 Quote
Banksyrules Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 Looks like a closer to home or best fit type of recruitment. Man I hope she chooses us. Quote

TTT Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Coincidence or did IU Ladies receive recent news of Beckham to Georgia and announced the most recent addition on Saturday as insurance as I noted in a recent post. Quote
mickey one Posted August 27, 2024 Posted August 27, 2024 We already have Nevaeh Caffey, not to mention Maya Makalusky. Caffey can do everything Beckham can do. We need to commit to the development and eventual stardom of the top players we recruit. Was there even room for Beckham at IU? I question that, and she may have questioned it, too. I know some of the top programs like UConn "stockpile" players. UConn has a "survival of the fittest" spectacle going on at guard this year, with 9 players vying for 2, or maybe 3 starting spots. The result will be a number of high school All-Americans sitting on the bench. That is sad. WayneFleekHoosier, mamasa and ALASKA HOOSIER 3 Quote
TTT Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 There’s room for a 5 star recruit with a harmony match attitude that fits with the team and it’s growth at IU. Quote
