I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities that we play a Monday game.

If Bloomington gets a large amount of rain and/or it lasts longer into the day on Saturday, you're right, Monday is a distinct possibility.  Rainfall probabilities aren't unduly high so maybe Mother Nature will use her benevolent side this weekend.

With it being scattered thunderstorms I would be surprised if they can't finish all three games by Sunday night.

Like against Maryland, they can play between the storms with delays. Remember with a turf field even if they got two inches of rain from a pop up storm (and I mean that literally) they can play as soon as it stops. This is not all day rain at any point. Just pop ups the models have not gotten a hold of exact timing on yet.

After 4 complete, Hoosiers lead 10-1 scoring 6 in the 4th.  Cerny a 2-run HR, Whalen an RBI double and a 2-run HR from Taylor and immediately after Taylor's, Tibbitts hit a solo shot.  5 HRs on the day for our Hoosiers.  Through the 4th, Sinnard has only allowed 1 hit and hasn't walked a batter.

14-3 after 5.

Sinnard's long stay on the bench while the Hoosiers scored 6 in the 4th maybe wasn't such a good thing.  He gave up a leadoff HR in the PUke 5th and they scored a second run on a sac fly.  He's thrown 68 pitches.

In the bottom of the 5th, Jessee hit an RBI double and a Serruto single scored our 12th run.  We then loaded the bases and scored 2 more on a Tibbitts single.

PUke gets 2 in the 6th on a HR but Sinnard strikes out the next 3 batters and has 9 for the game.  He gave up 5 hits and no BB and Ey took the mound to open the 7th.

Bottom of the 6th, Jessee leads off with a HR, our 6th of the game and after Cerny strikes out, Serruto hammers a solo HR.  Mathison drives in 2 more with a single then Pyne gets an RBI single and it's 19-5.  This was Pyne's 4th hit of the game and he has 3 RBIs.  To add insult to injury, Jessee bats for the second time in the inning and blasts another HR, this one a 3-run blast.  22-5 Hoosiers just crushing the Toiletmakers.

8-HRs is a new single game Bart Kauffman record.

Ey took the mound in the 7th and was pulled after facing 5 batters and giving up 4 runs on 3 hits, 2 BB and 2 WP and unable to get a single out. Katskee replaced  Ey,    Score is now 22-9.

We scored 3 more in our 7th and it's just become totally ridiculous with us holding a 25-11 lead.  Teams have combined for 11 HRs and a combined 18 extra base hits.  Katskee finished the 7th and Seiler pitched a scoreless 8th.

We added a run in our 8th.  Glasser is 4-6 on the day and has scored 6 runs. Jessee is 4-5 with 6 RBI.  Pyne is 4-5 with 4 RBI.

PUke with their final at bat trailing 26-11.

Truly, Ey was the only issue. Sinnard was fine.  Seiler was very good.

Katzkee was completely fine-- 1IP 1ER (for what we needed).. just get 3 outs.

9IP 5ER other than Ey.

We saved Yoho...

I'd think Manase will start, but he will have a short lease, with Kraft+Yoho.

6-0 Hoosiers after 3.

Risedorph got today's start.  We jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead with back-to-back first inning doubles from Taylor and Tibbitts.  We picked up another run in the 2nd and 4 more in the 3rd on a 2-run triple from Pyne followed by a Jessee HR, his third of this series.

Risedorph has given up 2 hits, no BB and thrown 36 pitches in 3 innings.

9-0..

Risedorph- 4IP ... he's been awesome and I wonder if this signals he's our Saturday guy moving forward.

Kraft in.

15-3 final score.

We added 3 in the 4th on a 2-run Mathison triple and an RBI single from Pyne.  We had 9 hits through 4 innings of which 6 were for extra bases.  Risedorph only allowed 2 PUke hits through 4 innings and stayed on the mound for the 5th but was relieved by Kraft after giving up a hit to the PU leadoff batter.

We got a run in the 6th and 5 more in the 8th via a solo HR from Tibbitts, a 2-run HR from Cerny and a 2-run HR from Glasse

We're using PUke pitchers for batting practice with 16 hits today which includes 4 doubles, 2 triples and 4 HRs.  Kraft came on in the 4th and has been great in relief.

We go for the series sweep tomorrow at noon.

Yoho still hasn't thrown a pitch.

I loved the decision to start Risedorph, some of that is, other than Maryland he's pitching very well...

Start Manase today. Yoho, Phillips, Foley. Yoho has thrown 60p before..

You could use Bothwell, but I feel like they'll allow him to start Tues vs Evansville. Just projecting ahead... Using Seiler Friday was big because we can use him another 2-3 innings on Tues.

If the offense just does its job it makes life easy on Mercer and co today. More hits/runs, please!

Came in from finishing yard work just in time for the end of the game and our 10-2 win.  More batting practice off PUke pitchers but only 1 HR today.  Probably tired from the 8 we hit on Friday and the 4 we hit yesterday.  We used 4 pitchers today who only gave up 3 hits and 4 BB.  Good stuff from the staff this weekend.

Tuesday night we host Evansville (30-20).  Next weekend we're at Michigan State for the final games of the regular season.  B1G tournament starts on the 24th.
