I don't think struggling in the first quarter is concerning enough to get away from your game plan with Mack. We've had a few plays where it looks like players are trying to do too much. We'll settle in and blow this wide open.

The point is Mack is obviously hurt to where they have a plan to bench her no matter what the outcome is against this team. If she was truly healthy enough, she would have been in. Looks like she isn’t playing regardless

I was responding to your above comment about being concerned she didn't enter the game because we were struggling. The team needed to settle down and do what they do with Mack available or not. We weren't going to lose the game in the first quarter.

I don't know how injured Mack is or what the plan is for her return. I do know that struggling in the first quarter in the opening round game against a 16 seed doesn't require us to panic and play Mack if that's not the plan.

39-27 halftime lead.

Pts:  Grace 13; Sydney and Lilly each 7; Yarden 5; Lexi 4

Reb:  Grace 4; Geary and Sydney each 3;  Lilly 2

Asst:  9 on 13 made FG.   3 players each with 2.

We only committed 3 TOs and 1 foul.

IU:  54% FG and 29% on 3s

TT:  33% FG and  39% on 3s

TT has 3 players with 2 fouls

Anyone that busts on female announcers should hear these two. Professional and insightful.

But the play by play one called our building the Simon Skjodt Assembly Center. Her best grade is a D+.

I was thinking the same thing.  These two don't bother me, but the one last night and the one that sometimes does the Cubs just hurt my ears.
