Not terribly surprised at our sluggish start and not overly worried that we won't turn it around in the 2nd Q.   We'll ramp up our D and take control.  No way Rutgers is going to keep shooting 59% in our house.

Bit of a “let down” after some big crowds and big opponents this week. Hope they turn it up and don’t let the hard work this week be for not and lose to a bottom dweller.

Early observation: Rutgers plays an unusual style and it’s taking us a little while to adjust to it. They aren’t very organized so it’s unconventional in that they gamble more than they should on D, and don’t make extra passes on O. I think it’s caught us off guard because we’re accustomed to playing teams that operate more traditionally and fundamentally.

What's weird is that the state logo at Memorial Stadium, the original Assembly Hall court logo and the logo used for merch is the correct shape.

Rebounding is really poor.  We're being outrebounded 13-9 and we've yet to get an offensive board and Rutgers has 6 of their own.

Tough to get O-boards when you're shooting 68%. Only 22 FG's in 18 minutes, is lady Rugers playing really slow or are they in a zone and we're taking our time.

Certainly not what we hoped for but we did play much better in the 2nd Q and lead 50-42 at the half.  Brown for Rutgers has 3 fouls and 2 other with 2 each.      Meister 3 fouls; Mack 2

Rutgers shot 53% in the first half and I'm on record saying that ain't gonna happen in the 2nd half.

Next Sunday is looking like a tougher game at PU than maybe anticipated. They’ve beaten ILL and OSU on the road in back to back games. Throw in the rivalry. We will have to bring our game to that one.

Yes, IU Ladies will definitely be challenged.  Purdue up and coming with new coach.  They have showed well during season and the circumstances are there.  IU Ladies are going to have to play better than today.
