[Class of '66 Old Fart 84,776]

3SSB (adidas) wrapped up its Eurocamp yesterday in Treviso, Italy.  7 IU offerees were invited.  Annor Boatneng, VJ Edgecombe, Akai Fleming and Travis Perry were teammates on the USA Select team.  Mikel Brown, Jr., Gicarri Harris and Malachi Moreno were teammates on the 3SSB Select team.  Event involved 4 other teams from Europe and Asia.  The 3SSB squad played in the 2nd place game and the USA squad played in the championship game.  Both were smoked by European teams.

That’s a tough event for a kid like Moreno. There are guys there 5+ years older than him. Nice to see that he held up.

The USA U16 National Team swept through the FIBA Americas Championship like a hot knife through butter.  The team averaged 115.7 ppg while holding their 6 opponents to 52 ppg.  In the championship game they overwhelmed Canada 118 - 36.  Only 2 IU offerees were on the team, Koa Peat and Darryn Peterson neither of whom appears to be active on the IU radar but there were some other names that I've seen mentioned with possible IU interest so I've included their stats as well.

FYI, coaches can attend the Top 100 camp today and tomorrow.  They're assigned the bullpen in the middle which allows them to roam at will and watch multiple players who are playing at the same time on different courts.
