ABOUT THE LADY LIONS
Penn State went to double overtime with Minnesota where it fell in its Big Ten opener, 98-96, in Minneapolis.  They are led by junior guard Makenna Marisa who averages 18.7 points and 4.4 assists per game while shooting 46.7 percent from the floor. Redshirt sophomore guard Leilani Kapinus adds 10.2 points and 5.9 boards while freshman guard Shay Ciezki is also in double figures, averaging 10.0 points per outing. The Lady Lions are scoring 76.8 points per game while shooting 45.9 percent from the floor.


 On Monday  night's radio show:

- Alyssa Geary sprained her ankle Saturday in practice, no timetable for her return yet.

- Kiandra Browne 's recovery *could* last into January.

- Grace Berger is "attacking her recovery" process hard. No return date just yet.

It was good for IU Ladies while it lasted.  Regardless, if IU Ladies win this game or not they are a top 25 team…Mentally, physically tired and lacking.  Penn State and Illinois are no Ohio State or Iowa.  Weaknesses showing.  The really true top teams don’t play like this.

Just a matter of time maybe sooner than later.
