Unfortunately, I have an office lunch today, so won't be able to provide updates either :( Guess there are worse things than drinking beer at Upland during the day lol.

SIU is probably our best cupcake as they beat Illinois. With that said Illinois is horrible and also lost to SIUE and Middle Tennessee. Need a better effort than Sunday or this will come down to wire. Any other equivalent performance from a game this season would be a reasonably comfortable win.

Much better effort than Western Michigan against a better team. SIU is still bad, but has actually had some decent results this year (beat a bad Illinois team and played strong against a good Tennesee team) and IU made them look really atrocious with suffocating D. Good pertformance.

70-37 final score.

  • Holmes:  18 pts; 7 reb
  • Berger:  18 pts; 3 asst
  • Cardano-Hillary:  11 pts; 4 reb; 4 asst
  • Moore-McNeil:  9 pts; 5 reb; 3 asst.  Played 24 min. off the bench.
  • Patberg:  6 pts; 3 reb; 5 asst

Anybody know the story on freshman Keyarah Berry who saw no action today in the blowout and has only gotten 5 min. of play all season?

She is in concussion protocol after taking a hit in practice. Coach Moren said that they were also protecting against light and sound sensitivity which is why she was not on the bench for the game.
