Did Fucci transfer during the season or something? Fougereesse has zero confidence in about the last 4 series. There’s got to be someone on the bench who you can at least try.

Then of course Brown gives up a long HR. And walks next guy. Geez

And Brown walks the next 2. Told you all we did was 'ice' Brown with the offensive failure. We would of been better off going down 1-2-3 again then the stupidity we pulled.

No. He's been pinch hitting. He strikes out way to much and is a senior. Better to let Fouergousse learn on job as he will be better by next year than Fucci ever was. Same with Espalin. These guys are growing on job and its going to be beneficial starting next year.

Brown walks 2 in a row. When he has something bad happen, he kind of loses focus. Manager keeps him in.

Yup he does that a lot. Offense should be absolutely destroyed Mercer. Especially Hopkins, who really screwed inning up.

Ok. It worked out as Brown gets double play to end inning. Question is can we get anything off Wereski with 6 outs left. Actually Rutgers goes to pen for some reason so we may have a chance but need a run with 6 outs left.

NVM. Rutgers goes to their closer for a six out save who is their one good reliever. Six out saves are tricky as Litwicki learned last week but this guys is good.

Down 1-2-3. I guess only good news is we have best part of lineup in ninth. Also both teams have saved their bullpen which matters since we have Nebraska later and we need Rutgers to beat Nebraska two more times.

We should have everyone but Bothwell available rest of weekend which helps a lot. Especially with Mudungo going next game who has not started a lot against Nebraska ace.

Mercer using Maciochi to pitch which is a good move to save the best bullpen pitchers. He rarely pitches and was unlikely to be used against the Huskers.

I will say.. its evident Tank is becoming more comfortable at the plate.

Very good ABs this weekend and was obviously incredibly good yesterday and against LHP both days. Promising.
