Recommended Posts

Our 17th ranked Hoosiers (10-4) (8-2) host Rutgers (5-3) (1-3) who's had quite the problem with COVID-19 and hasn't played since Jan. 3, postponing 7 games in that span.  Hope we double and triple check them so they don't bring any of that crap to our team.  We need everyone healthy for Sunday's game at Iowa.

From my opening post in this thread --  Hope we double and triple check them so they don't bring any of that crap to our team.

Well we did and Rutgers flunked so tonight's game is postponed.  With the number of games Rutgers has had to  postpone because they can't self-police their program they should be considered forfeits.  We have games already scheduled for the 7th, 10th, 14th, 18th, 21st, 24th, 27th and either March 5 or 6.   This will be the 8th game Rutgers has postponed because of COVID.  Enough is enough.  I don't know what Rutgers' remaining schedule looks like but how in hell could they make up 8 games in the next 4 weeks?   Come on B1G, call them forfeits and then boot them out of the conference.

And I forgot to mention that tonight's game was a make-up for the previously scheduled Jan. 18th game that had to be canceled because of Rutgers incompetence.

Its time for Rutgers to be shut down for the season by the Big Ten.

After 5 weeks if you still are having positive tests it means you are not taking protocol seriously with mitigating the spread. Its not fair to the other 13 Big Ten teams that are taking it seriously to have to deal with the Scarlet Knights and possibly catching the virus from them.

Rutgers is not that great or a factor in the Big Ten race so at this point they are only a hinderance. I tend not to blame teams for COVID and that is part of the deal this season but after five weeks, enough is enough and at that point its on the team for improper protocol and at this point they are a danger to other teams.

I know IU was planning to play and had media availability yesterday. Its time for the Big Ten to tell Rutgers their season is over.
