Demo Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Damn. Redford was the 1st guy I saw play live in high school who then played at IU. He was a senior and I think I was 12. Dropped 25 or so on Broad Ripple. This one hurts. HoosierAloha, ALASKA HOOSIER and mamasa 3 Quote
323SGrant Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 I was hoping to thank him again for his thoughtfulness from many years ago to our family, as we left the IU auditorium together. He was a great guy. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners HoosierAloha and Whoozhers 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 11, 2021 Author Posted January 11, 2021 From Walter Jordan Heavy Heart! Just received word that my former Indiana All-Star roommate, teammate, friend and Brotha, Indiana University star Wayne Radford received his wings! WOW! Thanks Brotha Ray Tolbert! Through we had some epic battles on the court for four years, our bond, love and respect never wavered! I am so grateful that God granted us to reunite at our 1974 Indiana All-Star reunion five years ago! I will always treasure that weekend, as we got a chance to catch up on life, and share with each other just how we felt, appreciated, respected and loved each other! What a class act, kind soul and special human being! So honored, humble and bless to call him my friend! Prayers of comfort, strength, love, and condolences to his wonderful friends, and his beloved IU family! RIP Brotha! Until we meet again! Whoozhers, HoosierAloha, ALASKA HOOSIER and 2 others 5 Quote
