Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 I sometimes get the impression that Ali is the women's version of Devonte Green. Marchese and Gulbe don't have the quickness on the inside to handle Oregon's bigs. Grace Berger is one scrappy player. Observations from the comfort of my easy chair. Quote

Hoosierfan31 Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Patberg forced a lot of bad shots. we need to get penn berger and wise better looks. Maybe hit some FT Quote
HoosierAloha Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Damn! Yeaney tweaked her ankle.I think that’s an Achilles. Hate to speculate but there wasn’t any rolling or jarring and she immediately grabbed for it. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app mamasa 1 Quote
LockdownD Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Looked like Bendu grabbed the heel. I hope it's not an Achilles. mamasa and Hoosierfan31 2 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Even in the women’s game when I coach gets T’d up they get a call the next time down. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
mjhoosier Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Yeah. That’s a shame. Bendu was playing well. Hope it’s not an Achilles year. IU deficiency that almost cost them in the Texas game was lack of size / athleticism inside. Texas outrebounded the by 20. Oregon wasn’t missing enough shots to have to worry about offensive boards. Good things for the future for IU women’s ball. Good class coming. If she could get a grad transfer center, they could make a run next year. Lots coming back. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Disappointed but certainly not an unexpected loss to a very talented Oregon team. But the future looks bright for next year with Royster and Withrow as our only graduating seniors and a promising incoming freshman class. Really hopeful Holmes and Wisne will be able to give us a little more help in the paint. Already looking forward to next season. hsrtxp, HoosierAloha and mamasa 3 Quote

I get it for NIT but not NCAA tournament ... mamasa and southsidehoosier 2 Quote

For fairness' sake, I don't disagree with you. But to have any hope for any early round crowds at all in the women's tournament, they pretty much have to do it. Quote
