BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana hosts its second home game of the week as it welcomes league leading No.10 Iowa comes to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Tip is set at 8 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network.

Iowa comes in riding a five-game win streak including a win over No. 7/8 Maryland on Sunday. The league leading Hawkeyes are led by senior forward Megan Gustafson who leads the country with 27.4 points per game. and 13.1 rebounds per contest. Three others average double figures behind 11.4 ppg. from senior guard Hannah Stewart. Iowa leads the Big Ten in points per game, averaging 80.8 per game this season.

NOTES
  • The Hoosiers host league leading Iowa on Thursday night. The two teams meet for the only time this season and just once for the third straight year. The home team has won the last four meetings.  
  • Currently, Indiana is paced by sophomore guard Jaelynn Penn who averages 14.1 points per game. Redshirt junior forward Brenna Wise adds 12.1 points per game and a team-high 6.8 rebounds. Sophomore guard Bendu Yeaney is also in the double figure column with 10.3 points per contest.
  • IU is coming off a loss to Rutgers on Monday night. Four players scored in double figures behind 16 points from Yeaney.
  • Thursday's game will feature the two top free throw shooting teams in the league with the Hawkeyes posting a 76.7 percentage at the line while IU is shooting 75.3 percent.
 
UP NEXT
The final road game of the regular season is set for Tuesday, February 26 at Northwestern. Tipoff at the newly renovated Welsh-Ryan Arena is set for 7 p.m. ET.

Gustafson flailed quite a bit on that play too. She might have gotten the call if she hadn’t flailed like she was trying to get the call. She had zero intention of trying to tip that towards the rim.
