Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Lady Hoosiers are confirmed participants for this fall’s Paradise Jam, scheduled for Nov. 28-30, in the U. S. Virgin Islands. The other confirmed entries are Indiana, Oklahoma State, Oregon and Washington State, according to Nels Hawkinson, executive director of Basketball Travelers Inc., which organizes Paradise Jam. Typically, a total of 8 teams participate in 2 divisions. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted May 13, 2019 Author Posted May 13, 2019 2019 Paradise Jam Basketball Travelers, Inc. has announced the field and opponents for the 2019 Paradise Jam that will include the Indiana Women's Basketball team. The tournament runs over the Thanksgiving holiday from November 28-30, 2019 in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. The Hoosiers will play in the Paradise Jam Reef Division against defending national champion Baylor, South Carolina and Washington State. Indiana will face the Gamecocks, who advanced to the Sweet 16 last season, to open up play on Thursday, November 28. Day two on Friday, November 29 will have the Hoosiers matchup against the defending national champion Lady Bears while tournament play wraps up against the Cougars on Saturday, November 30. IU returns to the Paradise Jam for the first time since 2007-08 and will make their third appearance overall. It also competed in the event in 2003-04. More information on the 2019 Paradise Jam can be found online at paradisejam.com. The rest of the 2019-2020 schedule will be announced at a later date.
