300px-Carnac_the_Magnificent.jpg   I was going to consult with Carnac the Magnificent and ask him how many goals the women might score but I was afraid of what his answer would be.

De ja vu all over again as the women go scoreless in the first half and trailed O$U 1-0.  O$U scored again 54' to make it 2-0 and made it 3-0 at 64'.  Kopel in goal due to Gerstenberg's red card in the Wisconsin match.

I think the fat lady is already singing for this year's season.

Women host Nebraska (4-4-4) (2-1-1) on Sunday at 1:00.  Match televised on BTN+.  I'll make a bold prediction we're held scoreless.  :-(

Live Stats

Pay me.  Final score 2-0 Nebraska victory.  In what is a real oddity both teams had 13 total shots and both had 3 shots on goal.  Sadly, Nebraska scored on 2 of their 3.

Women will have this next week off before travling to the armpit of the nation to face Rutgers next Sunday at 3:00.  And since Rutgers has only lost once this year and is undefeated at home I sense another scoreless outing for our Hoosiers.

MSU scored 5 min. into the match and leads 1-0 at the half.  Not only can't we score, we can't even get shots off managing just 2 for the half.  Meanwhile MSU has 7 shots; 3 on goal.  We've scored 8 goals in the entire season.  3 against ISU and 5 against Trine.  This is our 7th conference game and we've yet to score a single goal in conference play.

Final score is a 1-0 MSU victory.  We got of an additional 2 shots in the second half both coming in the last minutes of the match.  We finished with 4 total shots; 3 at least were on goal.  The Spartans got off 15 shots with 6 on goal of which Gerstenberg was able to save 5.  Our inability to find the net has become laughable.

Next chance to score a goal will be Sunday when we host PUke at 2:00.
