Raiders 51, Marksmen 43:  Southridge found themselves down 38-30 on the road at Tell City entering the fourth quarter. However, the Raiders outscored the Marksmen 21-5 in the final period to come away with a crucial road victory.

Jaden Hayes scored 14 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter while Colson Montgomery led in total points with 22.

With the victory, Southridge remains undefeated at 2-0 this season.

True.  I haven’t seen stats of this game to see % but sure like how he gets to the rack!  I’m hearing early draft pick potential in MLB so I’m curious to see how this all plays out!

The Southridge boys basketball faced a tough test on Friday evening as they went up to face the Jug Rox of Shoals on the road.

The Raiders led by two points going into the fourth quarter but Shoals outscored Southridge 18-10 in the final period for a 57-51 victory.

Shoals (4-1) trailed by nine points at the halftime break as the Raiders (2-2) scored 21 points in the second quarter to pull ahead for a 34-25 lead.

However, the Jug Rox outscored Southridge 32-17 in the second half and made some key shots late to hang on to the victory.

Colson Montgomery led Southridge with 20 points (11-of-12 from the free-throw line) and Jaden Hayes added 19 points (8-of-10 from the charity stripe) in the loss for Southridge.

Southridge with a 53-37 victory over Forest Park (Curt Hopf) in the championship game of the Access Storage Holiday Hoops Classic in Ferdinand on Friday.  Montgomery with 16 pts. and 5 reb. in the win.  Montgomery was named the tournament MVP following Friday night’s championship game — he scored 19 and 15 points in the two games on Thursday in wins over Tecumseh and Christian Academy.

Southridge (8-4) over NE Dubois (4-7) 49-35 its 5th straight win.   NE Dubois attempted a ball control 1st Q but couldn't find any opportunites and in the meantime sophomore guard Colson Montgomery was able to make the most of Southridge’s possessions, with 10 of the team’s 13 points in the first quarter. Montgomery finished with 17 points and 9 rebounds.
