Really enjoyed the game- Kokomo has a heck of a player in Jack Perkins. Great atmosphere and a well played game. East wins, but it was by no means an easy win!

Kokomo kept it closer than I expected, first time I'd watched all year. Crazy seeing them actually throw the ball, back when I attended there all they did was run.

I checked the stats of Kokomo's qb, and it looked like he threw a lot over the season. Between that and the running game, they were a handful. If they'd had one more running back like Perkins, I think they would have beat East. East's advantage is their running- we had 3 players (qb and 2 backs) run for 100+ in the game. Kokomo had a great crowd!

Had a great time..hurry up O ran by East wore out the Kats and sure East had revenge on their minds from last year..even game for the most part until the fumble recovery.. What a dominating season East had too. Kokomo's 1st trip prolly had some deer in headlights going on..but on to hoops season..Congrats C East!

Your assessment and mine match up perfectly!  On the way home, I told my dad that, if not for that fumble recovery, Kokomo had some serious momentum.  And, the first hurry up drive was wearing me out, lol.  Really enjoyed watching Kokomo's coach, seems to be a classy guy!  Really hope to see Kokomo back in it next year.

Coach is my neighbor, nice family and his sons were both big time players for him and one of them is now one of the assistants I believe.

I know they announced at least 3 others with the same last name as the coach- glad to hear he's a good guy!  The other high school in Columbus recently suspended their coach through the end of their season for getting into a physical altercation with his own assistant coach on the sidelines lol.

Yeah I think I remember hearing about that. Hate to see that from the Head Coach. Set an example for your players.
