lol I ended up in Sioux Falls. Not exactly a hot bed.

 

I am just going strong after impact players. If I went the Crean route in this game and go after everyone I would go nuts.

lol I found two exc across the board except for one good that don't mind moving away from home. I will put everything into them until they tell me I am like Crean, when I tell them I have been thinking about them lately.

Everybody recruits from the same pool of players. Just like in real life, the larger programs that are raking in the money also have the most to spend. It's a slight disadvantage, but not something that can't be overcome.My biggest concern right now is that this league is almost 100% human coaches, most of which are the guys that were dedicated to the game before, meaning it will be one of the most competitive and hard core leagues that the game will have seen. Welcome to the game, guys lol.

Yes, it can take a while to get the hang of. And especially without being able to talk to a kid who you're tied for and have him be able to tell you he's leaning towards one school or another. I expect there to be a lot of ties in recruiting with all of the active coaches there are going to be in this league.

 

One way to gather a sense of where your team stands before the season starts is to compile it's +/- ranking. This gives you a total of the talent present on your team, and let's you see how your team stacks up against other teams. Each rating is assigned points: Exc = 2, Good = 1, Fair = 0, Poor = -1, and None = -2. Say for example your player's ratings are EGGPFP, this player would be rated at +4/-2. Currently my team is +49/-4. Should be a decent team overall, but also depends on how the players play together and how highly rated some of these other teams come in. I've seen that one of the top coaches in the game landed a +55 team, but not sure how high other teams are rated. What's everyone else got?

Correct. Could also have come from 2 Nones , but it's 4 Poors, 2 of which are on one player that is NA.

Not necessarily. Depends on whether averages fall in the 30s or if it's higher. For what it's worth, I've also seen mention of some teams in the mid 20s, so you should be good. Depends on where the minuses fall too.

None = -2

Add all your positives together on one side, then the negatives on the other.

I'm at +39/-12.   I'm in a conference with two AI coaches, though.

 

My roster is short compared to others.  Starting line-up is 6'4", 6'0", 6'5", 6'7", and 6'8".  Only one guy on the bench above 6'5"
