I am waiting on the email to finish registering ..........

Usually they are fairly prompt..still waiting?

I'm Pensacola. My current PG is 6'8 236 lbs (freshman) and my Center is 6'5 223 lbs. We recruit a little different down in Pensacola.

You can change them around I believe. It seems to be that each player is position-less and you place them where you see them best given their skills.

Yes. When teams are generated players are slotted as they are generated. It'll take some experimentation to figure out the right combo, but the skills are fairly straightforward.

How does practicing work? Do you set a focus for the team/each player and each day it goes up? How do you see the progress so you can know when to shift focus?

Actually this is one part that has been reworked versus how it worked in the old game. I believe that the emphasis has been placed more so on individual practice than team practice. There are varying levels of skill for each person that aren't necessarily represented more that just fair, good, etc, and the timing of the training bumps just depends on that level of each skill. There used to be a +/- next to each skill (like there is when viewing recruits) that gave a good indication of where skills were at, but that seems to be gone now.

Could you also explain the RP's vs PP's and how recruiting works?

The way I read it RP's are of actual value and effect recruiting whereas PP's just prioritizes your recruits to you. Could be wrong

Like I said, if you have any questions about anything feel free to ask away. They also have a forum full of info and helpful, experienced members willing to help out. And, if you do join, there are 3 spots left in conference 12 emoji6.png

Can I change my team name? Tried a couple of things but can't figure it out

Pap is correct. You get 68 RPs per week that you use to recruit with (max of 17/player/wk) PPs prioritize your recruits. You can spend as many of those as you want, the more they have the higher on your priority list, spending more has no affect other than that.
Yep, still waiting ...

What username/email did you use to sign up with?

The only way I know that might work is to pm kmoney with your details and see if he will change it for you.

Dude is going to really like me lol

Haha I wouldn't be too worried. He understands that there are some growing pains with restarting the game and has been awesome about helping everyone so far.

Anyone start recruiting yet?

I have a little. Always leary the first week or two until I can see some solid stats to validate players attributes. Also take note of position players play in high school and their scout rating..can sometimes give inflated or false readings.

I will try to cover as much of the recruiting as I can. But again, feel free to fire questions away if there's something I missed.

Each recruit is scouted based on the same attributes as your current players: Exc, Good, Fair, Poor, None. Each scout is graded with the same attributes, the better the scout, the more accurate the attributes. Each recruit also has a preference on Local, Win, and Impact. Local is obviously closer to home, always thought to be exc-stay in conference, good, 4 conf cluster around players conference, and so on. Win preference is to play for a winner. Whereas an exc rating means they way to play for a winner (20+ wins the last 2-4 seasons), a lower rating just means your w/l record doesn't factor into your decision. Impact is viewed the same as the Win factor. Exc means they want/think they can make an impact/want playing time as a Fr vs a lower rating meaning it doesn't hold much impact on their decision. Also of note is height and position played in HS. The computer coaches for the HS teams aren't all that intelligent and you'll see some of their lineups set up like your teams were when you first took control over them.

As far as RPs go, you are given 68/wk to work with, and I believe 13 or 14 scholarships for the year. There are many different ways to recruit, obviously. The method taken by most coaches seems to be to max 2-3 priority recruits, and then cast your "net" out to some other players as a safety. Once week 3ish hits, you'll be able to see a w3/w12 report that identifies how many other teams are recruiting the same players as you that are within 3 and 12 RPs of you. Recruiting updates after each game and points at midnight Saturday I believe. Many coaches, in an effort to try and keep other coaches guessing at their intentions, will wait to spend their RPs until after Wednesdays games so they won't be seen until the weekly update. This is especially useful if you are trying to slow play another coach who is recruiting a player in your safety net. The first recruiting "week" actually last two weeks, as exhibition week is kind of a dead week, so your RPs won't refresh until after the first week regular season games.
