I will pray for your survival during tball season emoji3.png. The most boring baseball. The only thing that made it interesting was watching kids play in the dirt

I think my wife volunteered me just to keep me out of the bleachers and away from the loud, annoying, try to command the game from their seats, everyone deserves a trophy type of parents. She knows me all to well.

Ummm...in tee-ball, everyone deserves a trophy. And a juice box. EVERYBODY should definitely get a juice box. Winners maybe get a bonus cookie. But only if we can all agree which one is ours.

Unless it's a game in the morning. Then, winners get a doughnut. With sprinkles. Good coaches make sure every doughnut has sprinkles.

So there. I am the RMK of tee-ball coaching acumen.

I'm talking about the excessive parents, everyone has seen the dad chewing out the ump or coach from behind the fence because little timmy was called out or isn't being played the way he wants him to be. Its probably not going to be bad this year, but it will happen later down the road. In our league the first year (4 y.o.), there is no score, no wins, or losses, basically its just a familiarization for the little ones. Next year they will have a pitching machine and keep score and such. I have already seen one parent this year criticize the head coach. I wanted to say something then but figured I would let the coach handle it.

That crazy-@$$ parent needs his own juice box. Has a calming effect, ya know!

LOL. I will tell my wife to bring extra, but he hasn't been back since the first practice.

Tball must be different in your area than mine. Here, there are no outs, batting order bats around once . Then it's the others teams turn. Each game lasts an hour. If your area plays the same way and there are still parents who do that, they should be banned. ;)

Thats how it is in my area.  Ugh I hate it. Now I don't want to be hyper competitive but at least have them playing the actual rules.

Yep same here in the greenwood area(4-5 year old league). The coach will pitch first and if no hits they will put it on the tee for kids. No prouder feeling as a parent for me last year then when my 4 year old hit off the coach for a hit and ran to first and jumped up and down on bag while looking at me repeatedly saying I did dad.

Also Alabama's Braxton Key will declare for the 2017 NBA Draft, but won't sign with an agent, per release.

That's how it is run here as well for the 4 y.o. teams, but my examples were from older groups. My friends son is in what they call minor league and in that league I have seen it. The only incident in my son's league was the incident with the coach the other day, but like I said the father hasn't been back since then. If one of the parent's were to act out like a petulant child at one of our games, I will gladly drag their a$$ back to their vehicle and ban them myself. My neighbor is the president of the t-ball league, I don't think I would have too much trouble in removing a$$holes from the game, lol.

I saw it when my son was in Khoury league (7 and 8 yr olds). One was his coach. Everytime someone made a mistake he would go off on him, especially his son. After the second game I had enough and had a long talk with him after the game. He softened up after that.
