3-game homestand underway in Bloomington.  Today's first pitch was originally scheduled for 6:05 p.m., but was moved up to a 3:05 p.m. start time. The rest of the weekend schedule will remain the same with a 2:05 p.m. first pitch on Saturday and a 1:05 p.m. start on Sunday.

Tim Herrin on the mound for our Hoosiers but not off to a strong start.  MTS scored 1 run in the first and 2 more in the second and after an inning and a half lead 3-0.

MST scores another run in the top of the 4th and Luke Stephenson in to replace Herrin and gets the Hoosiers out of the inning without further damage.  Herrin's line 3.2 IP, 6 H, 4 R (3 ER), 2 K, 1 BB.  Score 4-0 after 3 and a half innings.

We get 2 runs in the bottom of the 4th and trail 4-2, but we left the bases loaded and squandered a great opportunity.

Hoosiers (4-7-1) take a loss 5-3.  IU with 3 runs, 6 hits, 2 errors.  MTS 5 runs, 9 hits, 2 errors.  Herrin takes the loss for IU.  Game time on Saturday set for 2:05 p.m.  Season not starting out like we hoped.
