  1. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47619403/cfp-national-championship-preview-keys-indiana-miami Pretty interesting preview for Monday night. The trenches is where this game will be won or lost, and Miami has to play the perfect game.
  2. IRememberSchnelly Redshirt Freshman We need to be willing to take some roughing the passer penalties. Each and every time someone has a clear shot at Mendoza, that shot needs to be taken as long as it isn't too outrageous. Groz73Cane I Am the Ibis, Goo Goo G,joob Premium Game Ain’t Based on Sympathy IRememberSchnelly Oh, there isn't going to be just a "first hit", my friend. Mendoza should expect to be punished each and every time he drops back. I guess they haven't seen that Simpson hit from the Rose Bowl. It takes just one shot to get their guy out too.
  3. I was listening to the College Sports Channel on Sirius XM yesterday, and they were talking about the IUFB turn around and how remarkable it has been. One guy was looking up what the application numbers was for the university as compared to 2019. They had over 85K in applications which is an increase of over 25k in that 6 year period. They had 4,900 freshmen in 2019 with 10k freshmen entered for the fall of 2025. They were attributing that increase in the success of IUFB and the number of eye balls they have gotten. Alabama had a boom in their admissions a year or 2 after Saban started, so football success helps with admissions.
  4. Jaxson Dart being in place was probably the biggest deal there. He had his picks of jobs, and he chose the Giants.
  5. https://www.on3.com/college/indiana-hoosiers/news/former-wisconsin-ol-joe-brunner-commits-to-indiana/ On3 has a story about it
  6. A lot of sun and white powder kinda make the people in southern Florida a little "special".
  7. An ESPN article I posted in a Cig thread talked about how he recruits. "Cignetti is also big on ankle, knee and hip flexibility, which Saban stressed to him when Cignetti served as recruiting coordinator on Saban's first few Alabama coaching staffs." He is big on this which is probably what allowed Ponds to pounce on the first play of the game. Ponds said after the game that he laid back on it waiting for the break to jump the pass. Even if they do get access to all this stuff, you still have to study it like game film. You have to apply stuff you see in that tape which isn't always the easiest thing to do. You can't tell me that if IU was doing all this breaking into servers and cloud accounts, that other schools wouldn't be doing it? Some of those coaches would sell their first born for a win.
  8. You miss on 100% of the swings you don't take.
  9. I ran across this guy yesterday morning, and it was the first I heard of it. The idiots who came up with the rumors are butt hurt that the power is shifting in the last few years, and don't want to acknowledge that Cig is a film junkie. The guy basically debunks all the rumors.
  10. 4 SEC schools and IU. Times are a changing.
  11. Oregon is known for big plays, and let's let them have just the one
  12. When this defense starts to smell blood, they are deadly!!
  13. A lot of professional betters look for "value". They wait till a little before kickoff to try to get the best line they can. If they think Indiana is going to win and believe that people will vote Oregon at the -4.5 to give themselves a Oregon loss at 4 or less points, it will move the line down closer to -3 which the betters who think Indiana will win by more will bet heavy on. That way, they have an extra point as a cushion. Now if IU wins by 4, they win money. A lot of people might think IU is overrated still thinking of the IU of the last several years and not the one that has been shredding teams. They just let their brain believe what their eyes are seeing.
