  1. I would love to see Bryson stay. I wonder if his family would have him stay after what happened during the year with a coaching change.
  2. Being a senior, I am sure that Enright will be fine and will know what he is getting into at the high major level.
  3. My God, did Woody do anything besides coach in the games, go to practice, drink wine, or smoke cigars? I understand you need a good size staff, but we didn't get the results from the money being spent it looks like. The ROI was not good.
  4. This is straight off of Google. Enright is about the size of Yogi, and I believe he was fine in the Big 10. He will be fine as a backup/occasional starter who is familiar with CDV's culture he wants to set. He would be perfectly fine for us.
  5. It's not like he didn't have a month to start picking his stuff up or anything. I thought that Woody has had a house in Bloomington for a while anyway. It's not like he had to sell it to move to another job.
  6. One positive from working in there is that he could catch the players when they came in so he can meet and talk with them. I suppose that is a positive thing? Other than that, Woody should've been out of that office abut the time of the press conference, but they could have been cleaning and sanitizing it to get any residue of mediocrity out of it. It might have even been repainted?
  7. He kinda comes off as a very principled person in a couple of interviews that I have heard with him, so this doesn't surprise me. I suppose we will see if the right decision was made in the long run. FYI, I believe that the correct one was made.
  8. They do have some that Miller Kopp was doing for the Player's Perspective, and he was actually not to bad coming from the athlete perspective of asking questions. I don't expect them to really dig deep like you would with someone who has been doing it for several years like a Bryant Gumbel for example. It is pretty cool to get this side of them though.
  9. This should be good, and we can get more on his philosophies and things.
  10. I heard Todd Leary say after DDV was announced that he thought B Tucker would be better in the new system as opposed to Woodson's system. I would like to see him get pushed to see how well he can do.
  11. They better have a lenient Taco Bell late night drive thru wherever he decides to go. Lol. I really wanted to see if DDV could unlock him, but I guess their meeting didn't turn out that way.
  12. I will be looking for that on YouTube. They have quite a few on there, and the ones with Cignetti are really good.
  13. https://www.wvnews.com/devries-and-his-family-adjusting-to-west-virginia/article_2f824124-923d-11ef-a5d1-c36c13013813.html Here is an article from Thanksgiving time about CDD and his family adjusting to Morgantown. I expect something like this in a few months about his life in Bloomington. It says that he lived in a hotel for 3 months till they sold their house and got their new one, so they might be doing the same now. And it looks like their daughter will be a sophomore and plays volleyball and basketball. Seems like a down to Earth guy.
  14. A lot has been said about WVU's reaction to the hire, but Iowa thought they had him. One guy on this podcast said they had the odds at -400 that he was going to Iowa, and they are blaming it basically on the lack of NIL they have there. I would think that played a part in it along with the tradition and amount of support he will get to have in Bloomington as opposed to Iowa City. They are looking to McCollum, and if they don't get him, I wonder who they can get.
  15. LOL, I just came across your post about it. Been a busy morning. So I second this abbreviation.
  16. The way he breaks it down is pretty much spot on. WVU is a place that someone can be for a long time and be comfortable if you can win there, but if a Kansas, IU, UNC, or Duke calls you and asks if you are interested, you take the call and listen. The Kiffen to USC is a pretty much spot on comparison. My ex is from Tennessee and her family was PO'ed that Kiffen left, but I understood seeing it was his dream job. In hindsight, he probably screwed up, but when that opportunity presents itself, you have to take that chance. I am glad we were on the side we are on.
  17. I wonder if we have a chance although he has an IU hoodie on in the picture standing in front of the IU back drop. It makes a guy wonder where he might be leaning.
  18. I was Peeved when the Chi-Chi's here in Evansville closed down because I loved their pineapple margaritas. I am ready for some portal szn.
  19. After being a lurker for about 6 or 7 years, I have always appreciated your outlook from someone on the inside of IU.
  20. Seeing that his daughter plays in high school, I bet that he will be very supportive of Teri Moren.
  21. I have a feeling Dolson threw out a hypothetical if Woodson is fired, would you be interested? DDV probably told him to talk to me when the season is over.
  22. You don't know until you try. You miss all the shots you don't take. (It's amazing where that saying can apply.)
  23. I believe that neither coach recruited Indiana all that well for shooters
