I believe that was the plan figuring they could get a true C and have Bailey float on the outside and come in to help rebound. Sometimes the plan doesn't always pan out, and I believe finding a C who can play in the P4 isn't the easiest thing to do. Woodson had to pay quite a bit to get Ballo and Ware, and that is probably what we will have to do this offseason. There aren't as many of them as there are CGs and wings.

At least they have some pieces there with a new HC who is offensive minded. -
IUFB Offseason Updates

https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/48090121 I had to share this because Stephen A. Smith is right on so many levels here about why would anyone want to subject Mendoza to the Jets. -

https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2026/story/_/id/48053564/2026-nfl-mock-draft-two-rounds-64-picks-jordan-reid-combine Ok, here is one from whoever this Reid guy is at ESPN (I don't have the channel anymore and can't keep up with all the changing people there), and he has Cooper going to the Browns in the late 1st round at 24 (send him to purgatory) and has Ponds going to the Rams at 61 which will be a great spot for him. -
Yeah, he is the one player I wished that would have stayed just because he was needed down low. Having him and Alexis would improve the post a lot. Oh well.

IUFB Offseason Updates

I've seen one or 2 have him going to Buffalo which would be a great spot with Allen there and getting in sync with him. The Bills haven't had good young receivers who are steady in a while. -
IUFB Recruiting and Transfer Portal Updates

Yeah, it is crazy that we are now going after guys who are also considering Miami, Ala, OSU, and Mich. I love it. -
You have to love the fact that Antwaan still comes around. I even liked him when he played for Knight. LOL

I live in Henderson, KY just across the bridge in Evansville, and when I am out somewhere in town with my IU jacket or hat on, I get stopped a lot from UK fans saying they were cheering for IU to win it all in FB specially when they played Alabama. They don't mention basketball, but it is all FB and how good Cig is. I love the fact that FB is at the top right now, but the BBall team needs to be back near the top.

#1 INDIANA FOOTBALL 2025 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
jermhoosierfan replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2026/02/28/carson-beck-booed-nfl-combine-2026/88921465007/ LOL, Beck was getting the Boo Birds while he was on screen at the combine over the weekend. I would think Pavia would have gotten more because of what happened after the Heisman than Beck. -

Here is an interview with Sarratt. His talking about Ponds is pretty good. -
I guess they don't want all those viewers getting all hot and bothered seeing stomachs. Stuff like this is kinda stupid.

(2027) ATH Jaden Butler
jermhoosierfan replied to Lebowski's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
That is over by Jackson and Memphis which is quite a drive to Knoxville which is just 30 minutes shorter than Bloomington. He would be able to go straight up I-69, but the Vols rule that state which will be the biggest hurdle. -
Wasn't there rumors of doing the GM thing in Woodson's last year? I would think that they wanted to get the staff in place and look for the right guy which is why it took 10 months to get one.

What is long is how long GRRM has taken to finish the 6th book. He has been working on it for 16 years, and he still isn't finished while he had written about 6 other books in the GOT universe. I believe he written himself into a corner and can't get out of it. I did watch the 4 part documentary Earnhardt on Prime over the weekend. Man, I miss watching that guy race in the early 90s. It has been 15 years since he died.
