Trying to imagine standing in awe after the game looking at an Indiana team that will be the unanimous #1 team in the county and the favorite to win the national championship. I understand that he had some health problems earlier this year and none of his ratings were updated for a while. He’s back now, but he got butthurt a few years ago when people started using KenPom and the NET and started ignoring his, so he stopped publishing his college basketball ratings.

I especially like Sagarin because he hasn’t updated them since April of 2023 and we were #23 then, lol

Yeah. This gets constantly misreported. He didn’t say it at his opening press conference, as many have reported. He said it at a press conference during the portal recruiting season in response to a question regarding what he could possibly tell recruits to convince them to come to Indiana given Indiana’s football history and Cig’s lack of experience at a Power 4 school. And it wasn’t the first time he had gotten that question. His answer after being asked a few times, “I win. Google me.”
