    Do some research on Baylor, their basketball history, and what Drew started with when he got there. It’s one of the most remarkable coaching accomplishments in the history of college athletics. He is a very good coach. There are a few other reasons people may not want him at IU, but coaching chops would not be one of them.

    Do you think it’s possible that, while some of your info may be correct, someone found out you’re talking and posting here so they’re giving you some wrong info on purpose? Sort of like when you initially said what you heard was part of the smokescreen?

    Yes, and then Penny will pull a John Treloar and say Mike Davis deserves to be the head coach.

    IMO, it’s a step down. I just don’t see Gonzaga being able to sustain what they’ve had going in this new landscape.

    Funny how that always happens, isn’t it?

    Not saying he’s in on the ruse, but if he is, pushing other names out there would certainly be part of it. The other names serve as a distraction from Stevens, and also may help some of the names he pushes get a pay raise from their current schools. It’s a win for everyone.

    I agree with you, but it’s interesting that he has almost as a good of a winning percentage as Rick Barnes did there, who most people think is a great coach.

    Don’t we play Kentucky next year also? I can’t remember for sure when that starts back up.
