    I don’t particularly want Schertz, but I will say this—I saw Saint Louis play very early in the season and they were a train wreck on both ends of the floor. While still not a great team now, they have improved more during the season than maybe any team I’ve seen this year.

    No, but I can evaluate the source and determine how likely it is they know who we are looking at, and VERY IMPORTANTLY, if they did know, would they give that information out to someone or just throw some names out as misdirection.

    Um, no. I’m not sure what you think I’m biased about. I do happen to understand what evidence is, which is pretty hard for some people these days. Look, I heard from a donor a claim that Beard was being considered two weeks ago. I sent a DM about it to one of the insiders here. I know exactly where it’s coming from. Haven’t seen any evidence to confirm whether it’s real or a misdirection.

    Well, yeah, you would need Indiana sources to know that for sure. The fact that Beard or his agents think (or just tell people) he is in the running doesn't mean squat.

    He's addressed that, and there are basically 2 reasons: 1) He wanted to be sure the place he went to has the resources and commitment level sufficient for him to win, and 2) He loves Iowa and especially wanted to go to a school in Iowa, which he refers to as "God's country."

    I sent you a DM a week or 2 ago about a group of donors that were saying Beard is a legitimate candidate. I wonder if Rabby is getting it from these donors. I just can’t see Dolson hiring Beard. My son is a very involved student at IU, and he thinks the resulting protests would make Tennessee’s Greg Schiano fiasco look like baby crap in comparison.

    I didn’t ask you about Cronin, I asked you if you know if any of the other coaches of the dozens of schools that have changed conferences have tested your theory.

    Do you think this is true for any of the dozens and dozens of teams that have changed conferences in the past few years? Do you have any evidence of coaches successfully voiding their contracts as a result?
