  1. If several contacts give out the same misinformation, wouldn’t it seem coordinated?
  2. Not necessarily. I’m sure there are very top level donors who know what is really going on.
  3. Just briefly, at a certain level of giving, each donor gets assigned a “contact person” in the AD’s office (associate AD, assistant AD, etc.). If the donor wants info about anything, they go to their contact person. The names that that been passed along and generally picked up by the “media” (Goodman, etc.) are names that these contacts are giving to the donors. Unless you believe a name like Beard is actually a candidate, they are false flags.
  4. College must be different, at least for this search.
  5. I can assure you there are people under Dolson sending out false flags.
  6. The original message was a trial balloon. It’s part of the process.
  7. Ah. So did you comment last night when everyone under the sun thought we were immediately hiring McCollum? (I mean, that has to be wrong if we’re not yet talking to current coaches.). If not, why did you specifically choose to comment on RTZ’s post?
  8. A poster that shows up when somebody gets too close to the truth
  9. I met with Scott Dolson today and told him that Turgeon disclosed confidential information as to who the two candidates were, and Scott said that would disqualify Turgeon from consideration. ~Brad Brownell (aka Brad ole what’s-eez name)
  10. Good thing there’s a pool
  11. True. I don’t remember that he was being asked about a specific job opening, but that was a rare exception, lol.
  12. Yeah, it’s the dumbest thing. Nobody has ever admitted they were considering another job at this point in the season, but everyone asks and then takes these statements as gospel that they are staying where they are. So silly.
  13. For large donors, they certainly want the program to do well, but (this is my sense, anyway) they look at their donation as buying something (e.g., access, influence) more than supporting something. Just my opinion from knowing a couple.
  14. You wouldn’t pay the same price for a Pinto as you would for a Ferrari, but you still need a car, lol.
  15. So you blamed the spectators?
  16. I literally picture you typing posts with your bottom lip out and trying to coax some tears to run down your cheeks in order to squeeze every ounce of gloom, despair, and agony out of your body and onto your keyboard for every post.
  17. Dolson forgot to tell AI to STFU
  18. My guess is he wasn’t walking around the Celtics complex telling people he wanted to be the GM of a college team. I’m sure they thought he was happy where he was.
  19. Your purpose will only be fully served when you tell us who sent you here.
  20. Did the plane that went to Clemson go to Florida?
  21. Glad you came back and apologized so you could just do it some more
  22. I don’t particularly want Schertz, but I will say this—I saw Saint Louis play very early in the season and they were a train wreck on both ends of the floor. While still not a great team now, they have improved more during the season than maybe any team I’ve seen this year.
