  1. I'll have what you're having, it must be some great stuff.;)
  2. Good point. PG would be a better position for him...
  3. "On December 6, 2020, none of us would have seen the current situation coming, even if we figured the 2020 level of success wasn’t sustainable." That's not really true. Some didn't believe, even then, that Allen was a good coach who could continue the success he found in those extreme circumstances. I'm not at all surprised we're were we're at.
  4. A lot of people are reluctant to believe that someone's shooting has greatly improved until they see it in actual games. Throughout the Miller years, we seemed to always hear that so-and-so was a "sniper in practice, you'll see when the season begins." It never worked out. Even heading into last year, Bates, Kopp, and/or Stewart were going to fix the shooting woes. Didn't happen. So after that over and over, is surprising that people are cynical?
  5. I have expectations for IU football. I expect them to suck. Then when they do indeed suck, I am both not disappointed and disappointed at the same time.
  6. And people were worried about shooting. :)
  7. IU Scott's head will likely explode when he sees that. lol
  8. I vote Phoenix.
  9. Better than the All-American/All-B1G center and the PG the pro scouts think might be one and done? That would be a great thing for this team if that's how it turns out
  10. Still $40 too expensive for that service.
  11. Maybe try a VPN?
  12. Need to build on that record.
  13. Coach Allen is all about the IU tradition.
  14. We're #1! We're #1! (at not winning) https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/a-tale-of-two-programs-soccer-fastest-to-800-wins-football-first-to-700-losses-on-consecutive-nights/
  15. At least one of IU's football teams is good. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/a-tale-of-two-programs-soccer-fastest-to-800-wins-football-first-to-700-losses-on-consecutive-nights/
  16. Not cursed. IU does this to themselves because they don't care about the football team. Even when they try to look like they care, they end up overpaying mediocre (at best) coaches.
  17. At IU he would've been knocked out for the remainder of the season a few games ago.
  18. Shhhh, you'll hurt my chances of coming back to win it all. But 1T is 1E12 so it's only off by a factor of 10, maybe.
  19. This thread has really gone off the rails. So much hand-wringing over a top 60ish recruit going elsewhere. It would've been nice to have landed him but it's not as though he is a program changing talent. Yes, IU has missed on a few others recently which is a bit concerning but the level of "woe is me" some people are showing is out of proportion imo. If IU does as well or better than expected this season, it should help recruiting. If they tank then recruiting will tank. IU is targeting a lot of highly ranked, very talented players in the next few classes. This season will make or break those recruitments, I think.
  20. It sounds like we should just shut down the basketball program since it's doomed anyways. I'll miss it
  21. UM dropped a spot in the AP rankings after this win because it wasn't convincing enough and they were tied at half. That shows how bad IU football is considered to be. I can't say I really disagree.
  22. I hope after this IU will actually spend money on a coaching search then pay good money to hire a good coach. That would be a big departure from the usual going cheap on a coaching search then overpaying a mediocre to bad coach and dishing out a bunch of money to fire them.
  23. I've got some work to do. lol
