  1. Good point. I sometimes forget others don't care as much as IU fans. Not that even they care enough to assault opposing players.
  2. I haven't seen a reason given but since the teams were supposed to play this weekend I assumed it was because of the rivalry.
  3. WTF, it's just sports. This is crazy.
  4. Leal is getting walk-on minutes this year. I expected him to not play much but I thought he'd get a few more minutes during blowouts early in the season. I guess not.
  5. That seems to have been a trend this year.
  6. Whatever the emphasis happens to be each season, the refs seem to stop emphasizing it after the first 2 or 3 weeks of the season. After that it tends to revert back to same old, same old. Unless the refs want to influence a game later on, that is. Then they seem to all of a sudden remember the emphasis.
  7. Wow, that's an epic comeback. Or collapse, depending on your perspective. I personally go with it being an epic collapse since one would have to make a lot of mistakes to blow a 20 point lead in less than 5 minutes. Especially in what wasn't an abnormally high scoring game, at home, and against a much lower ranked team.
  8. I remember when a few fans and sports writers thought Moore would be a one and done. Good times.
  9. So you think Geronimo makes a lot of mistakes yet should get more PT? Color me confused.
  10. No, I enjoy the regular season just fine. I just don't care whether the teams we play are at full strength or not. I'll take the wins however they come and not be disappointed if the other team isn't at full strength.
  11. Not really. Basically the same Hunter as at IU. Maybe slightly improved but not much.
  12. Care about what you will. I personally prefer to do my chest pound over great NCAAT seeds and runs. If you want to pound your chest over games 2 weeks into the season, you do you.
  13. The computers and selection committee won't care whether he plays or not so I don't. Just win.
  14. If you really want it to happen you may have to triple dog dare them.
  15. Here's more articles about it for those of you who didn't believe. This one not sports related. https://gizmodo.com/twitter-eli-lilly-elon-musk-insulin-1849779323 https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/11/11/twitter-blue-checkmark/ Twitter has supposedly dropped the pay for verification. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2022/11/twitter-quietly-drops-8-paid-verification-tricking-people-not-ok-musk-says/ What a s**t show.
  16. I haven't looked at any of them. Where do they tend to have him? I think he'll be in the NFL, I just think teams will be scared of his injury issues.
  17. What's ironic is that they spend so much money on buyouts and such that they think they can't afford a good coaching search. So they end up with overpaid, mediocre coaches who then end up failing. They fire that one, have a big payout and go cheap again on the next coaching search (if they search at all). Rinse and repeat.
  18. My guess is that the injuries scare off a lot of teams. If he's drafted, it'll likely be in the later rounds. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes undrafted. Either way, I think he'll get a chance in the NFL but I don't see a team risking a high draft pick on him.
  19. Indeed. He made it look natural.
  20. Held OSU under 100 and scored 14 points. Better than I expected. Almost as good as a victory.
  21. Held OSU to only 7 points in the 2nd quarter. Moral victory? lol
  22. I've said the same before. They remind me of UCLA a few years ago when they had a mediocre season, squeaked into the NCAAT, went on a great run, and were then overrated the next season when they were decent but not great.
  23. FIFY. I don't think he's all that talented. His main talent is being really tall. He's not a total stiff and just being tall is enough to be effective in college so he'll put up really good numbers.
