Agree. She has earned the right to prove herself for at least another season in my book, and to make her own decisions at the end of this season. She’s a proven winner and team developer, let’s see what happens going into next season and go from there

Yeah none of us are naive, very important and remains to be seen that the key players return and that she adds a player or 2 from the portal but statements like she’s washed up are so inanely brain dead it’s comical. She literally just won with the U19 national team to go with getting the right assistant in to help land our best class. Just ignore 10 straight tournament appearances. Just ignore her national team success as assistant and HC. Just ignore that this was obviously a rebuilding year after she lost almost the entire team to graduation and the portal - sure, blame her for that is fair she’s the HC she should have planned and restructured sooner, but washed up?? Completely brain dead

This is really kind of easy to look up right? You know I respect your posting so don’t take that the wrong way but this is legitimately a very strong class as every write up on it indicates —4 key ranked players— Gigi Battle, A James, Addison Nyemchek, Zoe Jackson— that’s real balance, 2 guards, wing and center —Top 6 class rank overall, top 2 in the B1G — That’s always generally an unknown but these 4 are literally the best incoming class the program has ever had, as highly ranked and very successful HS players and importantly— they bring the type of athleticism and size IU women have been lacking.

10 straight tourney appearances— come on now

I’m sorry, you have no idea.

I don’t know what’s going on inside the program and with Moren right now but the idea of calling for her resignation or moving on for 1 season of failure, following a mass exodus, and with an outstanding best ever incoming class, is just plain moronic to me. What a fair weather fickle unfocused approach to team building. One would think the most successful coach ever would have fans’ giving her the benefit the doubt for 1 year but I guess basic common sense is a lost art. if she really is burnt out and ready to resign or walk it will come from her. If this is just a disaster of a season following the mass exodus then she’ll do well next season with the incoming talent and this thread will be a bad joke.

That looks like a tournament team to me (I’m no expert just my opinion). Better is 2-0 Q2 but still. -

That’s a good path imo. But also imo seems like the most predictable one doesn’t happen, they lose 1 they should win and win one they probably shouldn’t…. -

Helped NC had a guy on committee? I’m not a conspiracy guy but NC had no business being in last year, that was a complete hose job and a crock -
But keep Dorn in starting lineup plz

I'm wondering if maybe we're undervaluing the W (and Rutgers W) a bit without considering the overall impact of Dorn's role change. So it's only recent and a small sample size, but Dorn to the starters and his scoring role change looks at this point to me like it may be impacting our scoring ability (late game notwithstanding) in a way that changes the team's potential. Said it above but as a 2-man show on offense with Wilk and Tucker B1G teams have been largely shutting us down because of lack of additional scoring impact particularly with the starters. Recent games -- Dorn: 6 shots in 28 min vs MSU, for 6 points. 2 shots total in 19 min vs Iowa. 9 shots against Mich. in 29 min scoring 14. 11 shots w/5-5 FTs against Rutgers in 36 min for 23 points. 11 shots and 2-2 FTs against PU in 31:41 for 18 points. Yes it's a small sample size and probably still a wait and see, but I think it's possible we're somewhat undervaluing the team based on past results before Dorn's role change.
