This is the kind of game our guys should get 'up' for. I was surprised they didn't get up for the Louisville game. If our team vs. Marquette, KSU and PSU shows up we'll have a good shot at getting this big road W. Consistency, after the PSU game, bringing effort and ball movement like that on the road, is needed to get the W. If it's the team that showed up against Minn and Ville it will be ugly. Time to put that crap effort behind us. Really like that Dorn has been getting better and better, and bringing some swag. He can be a key to this W.

This team isn't a 'bottom feeder' in any sense and will be fine. Aaron already covered your comment about a severe lack in recruiting the right players. But what happened is that there was almost a complete roster turnover last year with publicly stated problems in the locker room -- that was on top of the prior recruiting by the assistant. Moren publicly recognized that the program needed to get bigger and more athletic to compete beyond what it's done so far, and with Colsten Thompson in the fold that's exactly what she/the program is doing right now. That's the point. The incoming frosh are outstanding top-tier recruits, and while Ciezki is a senior, Lenee is a R-Soph, Caffey's a frosh, Maya's a frosh, Socka's a soph, and Stotijn's a soph. That's a strong core with really talented incoming frosh and likely additions from the portal. The program is clearly headed in the right direction, including in recruiting.

Dorn adding scoring depth is a real key. Teams, including UK coming up, are going to scout and focus Wilkerson as much as possible, Tucker too. Other guys are going to have to step up in turn creating space for them. Dorn’s looking better each game

This is the thing. These all time numbers minimally show this team’s potential to outperform expectations. So we’re not a top of conference team, but you don’t play this well and not be fully capable of at least a decent run into the tourney. The fatalism after two bad early games is just so extreme. Tonight showed the team can compete now they have to start showing consistent effort and overall play on the road
