  2. I saw this article on another IU message board…. It’s a good read! https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/indiana-coach-curt-cignetti-knows-just-enough-about-notre-dame-and-playoffs-to-make-hoosiers-dangerous-in-cfp/
  3. I have felt that NCAA football should have had a tournament/playoff similar the basketball for years. I think a field of 16 is great.
  4. I don't think that mattered to him much..... If a good TE can/likes to block in addition to catching passes he is valuable. He was responsible for ALOT of blocking that produced consistant, positive yards and for various players and extended yards for Rourke. He was an absolute stud in more ways than one.
  5. ....Found this hillarious! lol https://www.sportskeeda.com/college-football/news-he-knows-indiana-sicking-ship-fans-troll-hoosiers-qb-coach-tino-sunseri-takes-talents-ucla
  6. Successful programs also attract promising and successful coordinators…. Coach Cignetti will find his gem of a qb coach, just you wait.
  7. Let's face it..... If Coach Cignetti finds another quality, successful veteran, qb, even one with a few years left, he's gonna go get him. If he want's Jackson, Cherry or Mendoza to eventally be the starter, then bring on the competition including the new portal qb. The best man will win when the season starts. It's a tough gig, but Cignetti and Co. have proven it works. GO IU!
  8. What are the odds of getting some surprise flips or highly desirable portal players joining IU? I know the portal opens Monday, I wonder who Coach Cignetti will be looking for a potential QB? This is always a fun time!!
  9. Exactly!!! I’m watching games of teams I would never be interested in!!!
  10. I’m sure Dolson’s patience is running very thin with Woodson. Whoever he hires next, he’s gonna want him to make an instant/upgrade and he will be willing to spend money to get the right hire.
  11. We have needed fresh young approach for several years now. This is not getting any better. We need an energetic, firey coach with drive and coaching experience in NCAA… When you have players in your huddle trying to fire the rest of the team up because of poor play, there’s a big problem. What a way to start Thanksgiving!
  12. It's funny to think a few years ago that most if not all IU Football fans would have been happy to consistenly get 6+ wins a year and a bowl game. lol
  13. I sure hope that given the opportunity, Coach Cignetti will definitely return the favor and “leave no doubt” when defeating Ohio State within a next year or two!
  14. What are Coach Cignetti and Co.'s biggest offseason (positional) needs for next year from the transfer portal? I ask this because we definitely got exposed a little on both sides of the ball vs. OSU. With some good NIL money, what kind of players can we get or have to have? Cornerbacks, OLB's, etc.? Tackles, Guards, Tight Ends, etc. ?
  15. The game was eventually out of hand, but was also closer than the score showed too. We are a much better team than we showed last night! Momentum was key and then sustaining it. I’d like to see this game played at IU or on a neutral field. I’m not saying it would be a win, but the out come is likely closer with a better opportunity for an upset. JMO
  16. This recruitment got extremely tiresome and boring quickly!
  17. I apologize if this has already been mentioned, but how much of a difference OSU losing their starting center affect the game Saturday and the spread?
  18. .....uh......yeah, buying a team? Coach Cignetti and Co. went out and "bought" JMU players and various other players who were not so highly toughted players that honestly not too many other schools even wanted them. It's not like Coach Cignetti went out, flipped 4 and 5 star players from big time schools and paid them accordingly! The fact is, people don't like and probably can't understand how he could have done this in one season. The only answer is two things....... 1. Incredible coaching! 2. Buy in!
  19. I love Coach Cignetti's approach to this game, specifically. He preaches, personifies and models his "blueprint". The press is continually making loaded comments and submitting to the hype (paraphrased)... "YOU DO REALIZE YOU'RE GETTING READY TO PLAY POTENTIALLY THE BEST TEAM IN THE NATION, RIGHT?" He always stays even keil, "not too high, not too low" and always delivers a refreshing, locked in form of confidence that is infectious. He believe and expects this team to go in Ohio State and beat them with sound assurance. I love it!
  20. .....Hilarious!!! Dr. Jellyfinger,....Classic!!
  21. These OSU fans downplaying anything IU because they’re not getting all the attention! They are such snobs! Lol
