  1. ^^^this, and he’s deceptively mobile too.
  2. If CMW can’t produce an improved and formidable team this year with large NIL resources, including specific players picked for HIS type of play on both sides of the ball….., Dolson must turn the page! This is his year to flip the script, because on paper this roster should make a lot of noise and quiet the naysayers. He has zero room for sputtering through the year. If we could see a similar turnaround like IU Football (minus a new coach), we will start to see more confidence in recruits wanting to play for CMW.
  3. Julian Lewis set to visit USC again, this weekend vs. Penn St. Kinda strange to me… https://usc.rivals.com/news/julian-lewis-set-to-make-a-return-visit-to-usc
  4. The more I read about Myles the more I love this kid! If what the current team has been saying about him comes to fruition when the season finally begins, we may be in for a special season at IU. It’s been a long time coming. The only question will be how will Coach Woodson use/coach his new toys this year? Having a true vocal and extremely productive point guard since Yogi is going to be so refreshing, especially with all the tools around him at his disposal…. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/theres-no-one-like-him-ive-played-with-ever-iu-looking-to-myles-rice-to-fill-leadership-void/

  6. ….same thing going on with Ohio State fan base… It’s like, they’re saying, “ Oh, that’s cute how IU suddenly thinks they’re good now. Wait till we get em in November!”
  7. It’s going on everywhere…. Fans and a few upcoming, opposing teams, most recently, Nebraska are saying (I paraphrase)….. - IU’s good, but not that good…. - They haven’t played anyone yet and their schedule is soft…. -They haven’t played a team of our caliber yet…. -Cignetti won’t stay long at IU…. Blah, blah blah….on and on.
  8. Well, he still has a few USC things up on Twitter still. Who knows?
  9. Just saw this on indiana rivals…. For what it’s worth……,
  10. lol.....That's hillarious! I didn't think about that one....
  11. I specifically watched it to see Gallo's reaction.....lol All he did was start grinning when Rice mentioned Woodson feeling like a grandpa.... Galloway's reaction was totally of, "yep, that's how he treats us all, like one of his own."
  12. .....one word, "MOLDABLE".
  13. (Coach Woodson trying to out-recruit Coach Hurley)......the extreme competitiveness in me says,... "Ok, we doin' this? Let's dance, little man! I'm not lettin' this one get away without a fight!"
  14. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/byron-baldwin-top-ranked-player-in-ius-2025-class-no-longer-committed/ Things like this just pzz me off! Coach Cignetti has zero interest in Wishy-Washy, undecisive players. Though highly talented, this guy may never have worked out at IU because someone much cheaper, with less stars, would most likely love a chance to beat him out.
  15. .....It's crazy to think that losing him in years past could have seemed tough or even devastating. It also goes to show you how much of a difference Coach Cignetti and Co. have changed everything we think, thought or knew about the "old IU". Currently, he was just a piece of a LOADED receiving corps and not the "go to" guy that he once was. I don't think he really bought in the the new regime...... What happened to all this stuff he was talking about earlier.....? lol "Indiana University football wide receiver Donaven McCulley told new coach Curt Cignetti to "coach me hard" and that Cignetti's tough love approach was helping him improve as a player."
  16. IMO, "letting off the gas" for Coach Cignetti is not in his mindset or DNA. However, to avoid being accused of "running up the score" right now would be a constant borage of running the ball straight through your chest. Pick your poison with IU right now.
  17. .....love! Those kids want to feel the love, connection/relationships they continue to build with staff. Besides, everyone always wants the last word when it comes to competing for something.
  18. Did you catch what Coach Cignetti said in the beginning? He was saying...."I'd like to have finished the game a hair better,...thought we could really have made a statement at the end!" I take that as, he could have easily scored again to get it to 49 and a 21 pt. margin, but he called off the dogs. If the clock had more time, we most definitely would have added to that score. It's not a secret that Coach Cignetti wants to score and score at will. Knowing that you've been averaging + or - 50 pts a game all year, with little resistance, feels good.
  19. Found this on the USC site… Interesting to find out which school has gotten a little “noisy”?
  20. ...at this point it's not about Dolson thinking about giving a raise or increase, it's when, because it will happen. At the end of the season. Coach Cignetti's full focus has to stay on the task at hand. Teams will definitely come calling and I can only imagine with big pocketbooks. IU's do whatever it can to keep Coach Cignetti and his staff. This is uncharted territory.......
  21. I like our chances vs. OSU better this year, especially since we are playing them late in the BIGTEN season…. Playing them at the horse shoe is going to be daunting…. but, you know what they say about IU and daunted…. Coach Cignetti will definitely have them up and competing in this game. I would imagine the spread on this game will be the lowest it has ever been in decades! GO IU!
  22. I love what he said…. “If you double team me, we got more dogs!”
  23. I love this post game comment from Coach Locksley….. “Our punter is a weapon so I was hoping to change the field position and just end the game and get off the field. You know what? We weren't playing very good and I made the decision to wave the white flag.” …in other words, enough is enough! Relentless and Resilient…. Go IU!!
