....bottom line, this is a business and it's current model has been failing for some time. There should be ZERO resistance from anyone in charge in protecting Coach Woodson's (IU BB playing resume) in the grand scheme of things. I know this isn't the case, because anyway you look at it, it's gonna look bad on him in some way.

.....as in, before the season ends?

....plain and simple, IMO, Coach Woodson doesn't have the ENERGY or FIGHT to take on this job and this team anymore! I really believe he thought he was going to be the second coming of Coach Knight!

....truth be told, I'm sure (deep down, inside) Coach Cignetti would love to grab that mic again and say "IU BB SUCKS" right now!

....to "piggy back" this, those potential coaches are now seeing how serious IU/Scott Dolson is by investing and taking care of IU's Football coaches.

Overall Things Missing……. jmo Pride of playing for IU Leadership Fight/Toughness Direction Cohesion Drive I’m sure there could be a variety of different words, but one thing this team is not missing is talent. Go IU !!

“Captain Obvious” here….. Players want to play for a coach they love and believe in! See something missing?

Was it public knowledge that he tore his ACL early on before the season started? It would have been all over the news and how devastating it would be. At least, I don’t ever remember hearing about it.

…..I bolded something that just came to my mind about some questionable play by Rourke well as some questionable play calling by Sunseri, Shanahan and Cignetti. Forgive me if this has already been brought up…..I can’t imagine that some of Rourke’s late season performances and (qb) play calling during our late season/2 losses aren’t directly related to keeping his torn ACL safe and playable. Has it been determined when his ACL was torn? I remember thinking during parts of those games, “Why is he not scrambling out of the pocket or running more to get out of these situations?”

In the grand scheme of things, a hard play, execution and win is all IU fan want. I am happy for that, but it also complicates things too and that doesn’t make me happy.

It was pretty cool to have all those guys there. I had a foosball table and we were all drinking, playing foosball and having a good time! That next day after my hangover was gone, I looked at my roommate and said, “That actually just happened!” Lol

lol….We lived at Woodbridge Apartments next to Fountain Place Apartments… My roommate and I had several parties there. I’ve mentioned it in here before, Pat Knight, Pat Graham, Brian Evans, Matt Nover and Greg Graham all came or one of our parties and it was crazy! We had a fireplace and I had wood stacked on our back upstairs patio. Pat Graham was hammered and was out there chuckling pieces of wood off it causing a stir. The cops were eventually called then everyone scrambled!! Lol Matt Nover came back the next morning trying to find his wallet. He got sick at the party and passed out in my bathroom and threw up everywhere!!! Lol Good time!!! Lol

I guarantee Coach Cheaney and Coach Hulls feel much the opposite. JMO

My wife and I were talking about this very same thing. I told her that Coach Woodson will retire before he gets fired. He knows exactly what’s going on and definitely feels the heat. He just so dang prideful that he can’t get out of his own way.

Teams that win by this wide of margin are well coached, in sync with each other, in selfish and have totally bought in to the coach and his assistants! ……..this sounds like a couple IU programs currently on campus and NOT men’s BB! Dolson currently has Moren and Cignetti, both coaches with blueprints and results very similar to my post above. Dolson’s on the clock. When and who will be his pick? 2025 could end up being a beaut’ after all!
