…..a touch? That is outright selfish not to finish, especially since the ended up losing.

They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread

….and to think several were criticizing Moren and the team for their poor, early season play. Some were questioning her coaching abilities…. Again, this is how a well coached team is supposed to play as they improve game by game. The entire team looks in sync with each other and only gonna get better. The IU women’s play is another reason Dolson can’t overlook the inabilities and lack luster coaching/play of the men’s team. -

I swear, watching the IU/Wisconsin ladies game is what a well coached team looks like! They are a well oiled machine right now. Their passing, shooting, spacing and defense is on point!!! -

https://collegesportswire.usatoday.com/lists/miami-basketball-jim-larranaga-coach-candidates/ This is a pretty impressive and strong list of coaches for IU, (minus #1 & #2) ….lol -

Nice to have him back. He realized how good we became and especially with Coach Cig and Co. Captain Obvious here….”Good players want to play on good teams with good coaches!” -

It almost seems like the MAC and Sunbelt teams are becoming like JUCO, prep schools for a lot of big name teams. -

It’s sad when I don’t even know when or who we play. That has never happened until this year! -

Love me some Downtown Madison Hinkles!! -
When we get “that” QB, things will start to fall in place…

What if the first round playoff games are held in the same venue as the conference championship games? It would be determined by the higher seed gets to host that game, then its would be determined where it is played. For example, if IU was the higher seed, the game would have been played at Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets would be split down the middle and allotted to each respective school. If all tickets are not sold by each school by certain date, they are open to anyone, which could mean more fans for either school. Call me crazy, I was just thinking how things weren’t so unfairly lopsided…. JMO I do realize that anyway you look at it, someone still has to travel a good bit, just not in their home stadium. GO IU!

….they act as if the teams that missed out, like Alabama, Miami, South Carolina, etc, there most likely wouldn’t be blowouts!
-
I get that….I totally do. I could see and respect something like, “Indiana was on their way to a getting blown out, but made it close and respectable late in the game!”
-
Can someone please tell me how getting beat 27-17 is a blowout? I mean, yes, it was 24 points late, but we never quit and ended up getting it to a 10 point loss. I’m so sick of these game announcers keep comparing IU and SMU in the same sentence as “both blowouts”! Yes, SMU was blown out by 28 points, but not IU!

Absolutely not! I’m all about teasing and having fun! I’m a HS teacher and sarcasm, harmless teasing and joking is a big part of how I relate to my kids. They love it! lol -

It wouldn’t surprise me if he ended up at UCLA with Coach Tino. I could see Sunseri looking for a few QBs and Tayven one of them. -

….and Jackson knew it too,…..obviously. I feel Coach Cignetti is always going to look for and find a productive and successful QB each year, unless he finds one will two or three years of eligibility. I really think that is his blueprint right now. -
…college game day right now!!! SHUT UP KIRK HERBSTUPID!!! Basically Sinai’s IU had now business being that field, let alone in the game. I gather he felt like Alabama or a few others should have taken their place.
-
I choose to look at it this way…. IU was a bit shell shocked buy the INT and quick, long ND TD. It gave them great momentum and confidence and made us tight and frustrated. I wanted Rourke to move about more and possibly make more quick, short route passes. We started looking decent a quarter too late. I think ND was a bit cocky late and we took advantage. If we had another half a quarter, I think things get very interesting. JMO GO IU!

…no, Chuck Norris would have won! lol
-
....yeah, like many others, when he officially announced to Ball St. in June, he signed off with "100% committed!". That statement has totally lost it's luster these days. It's like, "Are you really sure or is that just window dressing?". lol

I have been reading as well and yes, there is a lot of frustration all over. I feel Mendoza was sort of like a Penix situation. He is a great qb, but the OL couldn't protect him enough. That's just one thing I gathered.
