I would feel great about a PSU - Miami path to the final 4.

The short answer is absolutely not. This will be the first 12 team playoff and it will be wild.

We will have to pay him that's for sure, but I don't think it's that simple. One thing that I don't think people are fully appreciating is that no SEC school is going to let him bring his whole staff with him. They are going to require him to hire people with recruiting ties in the South. And I think he is very loyal to his staff.

Confusing because I read another article that said Army hasn't trailed all year haha.

Braylon Mullins (2025) SG - to UConn

Obviously we have a pretty good team on paper this year, and maybe we can just continue to build through the portal. But I'm not sure what world where players are turning down money to go elsewhere is anything but a terrible sign. -
I'm not sure he should be getting a grade on Cignetti yet. I'm enjoying the hell out of this year, but if we don't hold on to Cignetti things would likely go downhill quickly. You would see the same mass exodus JMU did last year.

A bit of egg on my face, he's been beyond my expectations by a mile. Would love to eat crow on this by the end of the season.

McCulley Enters Transfer Portal (link)

Coach Cig basically said as much without saying it directly when he came in. (regarding some of the players being soft) -
I used to date a girl that lived in Hermosa. Man, that was a fun place to spend a weekend.

Thank you! That's all I ask

Is this a serious post? Kid is a baller but he won't finish top 10. And winning the Heisman is in fact out of the realm of possibility.
-
Speaking of receivers, was McCulley playing on Saturday?
-
I think he is a guy that really enjoys a challenge and doesn't mind ruffling a few feathers (e.g., leaving after one year). And how much loyalty to a program can you even build in a year? If a big-time school comes knocking, he will know it may be his only shot due to his age. If we win 8+ games, I think there's a pretty good chance he's gone after this year.

So basically the buy-out doesn't matter as any big-time school would be willing to pay that. And if we truly do have a great season, I think his history of turning around programs in his first year will speak for itself. I don't understand why coaches have so much leverage in these negotiations, especially considering how many fail miserably. Pay me a gagillion dollars if you want to fire me, but I get to leave for peanuts if I want.

I mean they are both in the SEC so they will definitely play at least once. That will for sure be must see TV.
