  1. It might be a must-win. I'm not sure we get in without being able to say we don't have any quad 2-4 losses.
  2. How could you possibly miss something in this thread? There's only like 46 new pages an hour.
  3. Love Goode but it felt like he had a lot of points scored on him that half.
  4. The good folks at the Buffalo Bill Center for the West agree with you. https://centerofthewest.org/2020/04/30/best-western-films/
  5. Not sure where you're getting angst from my post. He would be a great hire.
  6. IU isn't Drew's alma mater though. I would be more than happy to get him, but I agree with Stuhoo that the story wouldn't knock your socks off.
  7. Lost the turnover battle by 11 and still won by 10. That's wild.
  8. I think there's a pretty good chance this is playing a big role. I'll definitely be curious to see if KU bounces back next year.
  9. I'm sure he was at some point. He gives off a real "not in my backyard" vibe.
  10. Pretty selfish if you ask me.
  11. They are providing an $8 credit if the channels are unavailable so not sure that’s accurate.
  12. How many times did either one finish dead last in tempo? I'm not saying he can't be successful, and honestly in the age of NIL the recruiting aspect of it probably matters less. I just think the deck will be stacked against him.
  13. Not a fan, for four reasons: 1) Dead last in the country in tempo 2) Doesn’t emphasize threes 3) Will likely take several years to get his system going 4) I don’t think elite athletes will want to play in his system because of #1 and #2. And in the end, Johnnies and Joes are more important to winning a championship than X’s and O’s. I don’t want to sit through several years of rebuilding and then have sweet 16 as our ceiling. Obviously all just my opinion, but to me he is Archie Miller 2.0.
  14. Reading all the posts in this thread is a full-time job.
  15. He's very careful in all of his messaging, used to drive me nuts when I was a member of peegs. He never wanted to put any sort of stake in the ground, but then would take full credit for his hints when they turned out to be true but never the opposite when they didn't.
  16. I think you’re struggling a bit with reading comprehension. He was saying the opposite.
  17. To be fair, I kind of thought it was a post parodying people who claim to have inside info, but I wasn't sure. I guess it wasn't!
  18. One of the crazy things is that I'm pretty certain Mike let the money dictate who he played, at least to start the year. You will never be able to convince that Carlyle earned a starting role in practice.
  19. I don't disagree that he's a solid candidate, but I don't see how that's more impressive than what May has done. And I feel like a chunk of the fanbase is writing May off after one sub-standard half, but I'm willing to bet no one would be too impressed with TJ if they had watched ISU's last few games.
  20. Pretty certain he meant currently under 50, not under 50 at the time.
  21. Why is TJ more attractive than May? ISU has been terrible lately.
  22. She can try to spin it that way, but it's not what she said. She said the real discussions about his future wouldn't happen until after the season ended. If I was in any way right about her, I think she will come on and eat some crow.
  23. I defended her several times but ultimately she was wrong. (and by association me as well). Maybe she can salvage a bit of her credibility by coming on and just admitting she was wrong about how this would play out.
  24. The entire statement was just PR spin. It doesn’t reflect the reality of what went on behind the scenes. He’ll get paid, the question is how much.
