In many stretches this year Rice has been “just there” in games. Not really impacting anything which is disastrous from a PG.

At least we lead the Big Ten in something……. We have given up more 10+-0 runs than any team in the league. Wont be surprised if we add yet another one in the second half.

What is so important? It’s not the players, coaches, fans but rather $$$$$$$$$$$. All college sports (NCAA/BT/SEC) decisions are based on $$$$$$$$$$$. Its quite simple.

Yep, Although we have more money and fan support than most schools the reality is that IU has been to one Elite 8 in 30 friggin years.

I really, really , really hope Dolson doesn’t surround McCollum, if he is the hire, with help. Forcing Fife and Matta upon Woody was basically an admission that we hired the wrong guy. Any coach hired in Fife’s previous position, as an example, should be 100% the decision of the new head coach.

Sort of crazy that we “hoped” we finally had a strong pair of guards, with Rice and Carlyle, but here we are winning with Leal and Gallo as the starters. Kind of a LOL.

Me too. Although his Achilles heal is passing out of the double team he seems invested, good attitude, nice offensive player etc etc etc. MR to Miami is just internet rumors, so who knows if it’s true, but he is a Miami native, has been here three years and it wouldn't be surprising if the new Miami coach is gifted with sizable NIL $$ We will find out soon enough.

Who knows but if Goode wins his bid for another year I’d think a new coach would want him. Good shooter, great attitude and teammate to have. MR - I’m guessing gone to Miami Tucker - out of here Cupps - hello Atlantic 10 or MAC school in Ohio Rice - maybe stay here Carlyle - doubtful MM - fresh start somewhere else Newton - feel bad for him and his injury bug but…gone

I think it’s because we were doing well with MR and also didn’t want to see Ballo go to the free throw line. I’d be willing to bet Ballo will start against Oregon and Tucker will continue to sit.

I agree. One of the criteria is a season ending injury but the 10 games he played were the last 10 games of the season. That really hurts his case. Doubt he will win but if he threatens to sue the NCAA they might buckle. who knows?

Smart, plays hard, CARES, plays good D but it’s kind of tough to have a 2 guard that doesn’t look at the basket.
