A ton of assistants would make the move from position coach to OC. That being said…..a total OC tenure of only 4 games might be some sort of record.

Shows how far we have come when fans are “pissed” after beating Iowa, at Iowa on their homecoming weekend. :) It was a tough break for them to lose their QB but I don’t know about them definitely winning if he played the whole game. They didn’t exactly pile up the points while he played. If their kicker made the field goal (shocking that he missed) we still would have had the same amount of time for the final drive. Would the added pressure of being behind impact us, maybe but it was a beautiful thing to see an IU team successfully mount a TD drive, on the road with the game on the line.

And Alabama wins so goes from 17th to a 6th seed hosting a playoff game. Bama is only a good loss away from a first round bye.

IU at Iowa homecoming Oregon at PSU white out Bama at Georgia Kind of interesting. Three tough road environments but the visiting team won all three and in 2/3 of the games the lower ranked team won.

Has anyone on the planet bought a Jersey Mike’s sub because of the Danny DeVito commercials???

SEC is a different style, often more entertaining, but I’m not sure that equates to their top teams being better than the BT top teams. We shall see in the playoffs.

Switching back and forth between the two games and from a shallow entertainment perspective the Bama/Georgia game is blowing Oregon/OSU away.

Kudos to Iowa for imposing their style of play on the game. BUT…..kudos to IU for hanging in and putting up the W.

IU teams in the past NEVER won ugly road games like this before.

First half Iowa attempted 17 passes and we attempted 8 (and two of those were in the first minute or so). Didnt see that happening

Mediocre play, and play calling, at Iowa but yet we are tied. I think Cig makes a few “suggestions” to our OC, we wake up and win by 10-14.

It almost seemed like the Iowa DC asked us to please run the following plays and we said ok.

It’s early but it seems as though the better the defenses the more conservative we get. Dont want to be in a grinder with these guys.

Told my wife we better pass on that 4th down. Instead up the middle, against 35 defenders, just like Old Dominion.
