  1. Is this a final deal? They reported a few days ago that they had reached a temporary deal to allow them to continue negotiations, while YTTV could continue to carry their programming.
  2. First surgery complete … femur repair done. Next surgery will be 6-8 weeks from now to do the ligament repair/reconstruction. Calf muscle should heal on its own, as should the tibia fracture. Thanks for your prayers.
  3. My grandson saw the surgeon this morning. They are doing the femur fracture repair on Thursday, and 6-8 weeks later they will do the ligament repair. The doctor called it a "horrific injury", and said that at his age, you generally get ligaments to pop or bones to break, but rarely both. Keep the prayers coming. Appreciate you all.
  4. Went to see Caleb (my grandson) today. He was in really good spirits, and not too much pain, due to the medication. He's not completely sure what happened, but he said that his cleat got stuck in the turf (natural grass), and got hit in the scrum. He was playing linebacker and had tied up the running back then BANG, and he collapsed. He goes to see the orthopedic surgeon first thing Monday and they will go from there. Not sure if they will do the repairs in a single grueling surgery or if it will be a series of operations. Appreciate all the kind words and the prayers.
  5. I just got a call from my son. My 16 year old grandson was injured in football practice on Wednesday. They just got the report from the MRI and CT scan. It's not good, and I'd appreciate your prayers. He has: Complete ACL tear Complete MPFL tear (ligament that connects the patella to the femur) Partial MCL tear Lateral miniscus tear Gastrocnemius tear (calf muscle tear) Tibia fracture Femur fracture thru growth plate, which is still open The doctor is very concerned about blood clots and compartment syndrome, and we are waiting to hear what the next step is. No doubt, it will involve some serious surgery, and a long, brutal recovery.
  6. Maybe for some of y'all. Woodson's arrogance and sense of entitlement will be his legacy. Good/great player, entitled $20M waste as a coach.
  7. He was a con man among con men. The Knicks fired him after pulling the same tone-deaf, lazy schtick that he pulled here. ZERO RESPECT. But, like the song says, THANK GOD AND GREYHOUND, HE'S GONE! Moving on.
  8. The Indiana fanbase is the one that is due a refund. Woodson flat out stole almost $20M over that 4 year nightmare.
  9. Really no surprise here. Woodson was definitely the poster child for ineptness and laziness and always surrounded himself with "yes" men. He had no stomach for being challenged as "the smartest man in the room". And he was really good at smoking cigars, drinking wine and cashing checks.
  10. IU is listed as “under the radar”: https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2026/story/_/id/45915161/2026-nfl-draft-prospect-heavy-college-teams-penn-state-clemson-texas-best
  11. It's incredibly refreshing to see a real coaching staff with a real shot at landing some of the top players in the next two classes. It's reassuring and encouraging to see the mutual interest from these kids, too. Love to see the actual recruiting process taking shape.

  15. Looked to me like Woodson was still "coaching". Hope DeVries can shake whatever curse remains at IU basketball. Life's too short to watch bad basketball.
