I hope it does clean up the massive amount of wasted time, especially at the end of these games... but color me skeptical until it ends differently...

This is awesome - coaching challenges... like someone said "hey, let's slow these games down even more"... It's even more ironic that they are calling it an "instant replay review challenge". https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/coachs-challenges-coming-to-college-basketball-in-2025-26-other-rules-changes-approved/

He mentioned waiting on waiver decisions for Goode and Leal... but nothing on his son, Tucker's waiver? Has it been granted yet?

Yep… Lafayette “Fat” Lever played at Arizona State in the late ‘70s, I think for legendary coach Ned Wulk…

Prior to Halliburton's performance tonight, it's happened SEVEN times (according to ChatGPT): As of the latest available data, there have been seven instances in NBA playoff history where a player recorded a triple-double with zero turnovers. Each of these performances was achieved by a different player: 1. Baron Davis – April 27, 2002 (Charlotte Hornets vs. Orlando Magic): 33 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists, 0 turnovers. 2. Nikola Jokić – Date unspecified. 3. Jimmy Butler – Date unspecified. 4. Chris Paul – Date unspecified. 5. Dennis Johnson – May 6, 1988 (Boston Celtics): 19 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists, 0 turnovers. 6. Magic Johnson – May 5, 1991 (Los Angeles Lakers): 21 points, 10 rebounds, 17 assists, 0 turnovers. 7. Fat Lever – May 14, 1988 (Denver Nuggets): 11 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists, 0 turnovers. These performances are exceptionally rare, highlighting the players’ ability to contribute across multiple statistical categories while maintaining complete control of the ball.

https://www.homefieldapparel.com/blogs/homefield-history/iu-bison-mascot-history Not sure why we need it, either... but apparently, it is happening... I’m kind of torn... I remember the mascot, from the late ‘60s… Dad had some bison stuff (programs, newspaper clippings) when I was a kid… What I really don’t get is the sudden affinity for black… our school colors are Cream and Crimson... instead, we get black, red, white in almost every shade except Cream and Crimson. I do agree that there's something special about the uniqueness of Indiana athletics, especially basketball - no mascot (until now), no names on the back of the jerseys (basketball)... but as Uncle Bob sang: "the times, they are a-changin'". -

They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread
AZ Hoosier replied to Banksyrules's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Indiana Hoosiers Grade: D Mike Woodson understood the stakes as well as anyone when Indiana hired the former Hoosiers star in 2021. "The players are looking for me to get them where they need to go, and I'm looking for them to get Indiana basketball where it needs to go," he said at his opening news conference that year. Woodson ultimately failed to elevate the program to national contender status, however, leading to the February announcement he would step down at the end of the season -- one that started with Big Ten title and Final Four aspirations and ended without an NCAA tournament appearance. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/45129529/big-ten-report-cards-grades-2024-2025
