  1. Yeah, well, the 2nd quarter looks like a different thing.
  2. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/46158471/ncaa-move-one-football-transfer-portal-january
  3. LOL. If my grandma had balls she'd be my grandpa.
  4. How many new guys did Cig bring in last year? His result: 11-2 and a playoff berth. Cig may not have brought in 70, but he brought in quite a few.
  5. Nah, Woodson is gone. Cig’s the man for football.
  6. Jordan Hudson?
  7. The SEC talking heads are insufferable. SEC tries to stack their collective decks and they still suck.
  8. As hokey as "Hoosier the Bison" is, at least he managed to keep his head. https://youtu.be/Sjc56ogC9mE?si=p15NmUAsdmUFn8n-
  9. Hopefully that translates to some suicide sprints after several hours of film.
  10. Get it to Sarratt and good things will start to happen.
  11. Mendoza was shaky - hopefully just first game jitters. He's 50%, but missed on everything down field. IU is pretty much running at will, but having trouble finishing. Cig will get them settled down at half and we'll see a different mindset in the second half. Get the ball to Sarratt. And what in the world was Hemby thinking with that toss to Mendoza? That could have been bad in so many ways. Let's go Hoosiers. And BBQ that freaking Bison.
  12. Interesting. I'm have YouTube TV through my son's account, but neither of us got an email about the resolution. Glad it's done, and I agree, it would have been pretty bad if they hadn't reach a deal.
  13. Is this a final deal? They reported a few days ago that they had reached a temporary deal to allow them to continue negotiations, while YTTV could continue to carry their programming.
  14. First surgery complete … femur repair done. Next surgery will be 6-8 weeks from now to do the ligament repair/reconstruction. Calf muscle should heal on its own, as should the tibia fracture. Thanks for your prayers.
  15. My grandson saw the surgeon this morning. They are doing the femur fracture repair on Thursday, and 6-8 weeks later they will do the ligament repair. The doctor called it a "horrific injury", and said that at his age, you generally get ligaments to pop or bones to break, but rarely both. Keep the prayers coming. Appreciate you all.
  16. Went to see Caleb (my grandson) today. He was in really good spirits, and not too much pain, due to the medication. He's not completely sure what happened, but he said that his cleat got stuck in the turf (natural grass), and got hit in the scrum. He was playing linebacker and had tied up the running back then BANG, and he collapsed. He goes to see the orthopedic surgeon first thing Monday and they will go from there. Not sure if they will do the repairs in a single grueling surgery or if it will be a series of operations. Appreciate all the kind words and the prayers.
  17. I just got a call from my son. My 16 year old grandson was injured in football practice on Wednesday. They just got the report from the MRI and CT scan. It's not good, and I'd appreciate your prayers. He has: Complete ACL tear Complete MPFL tear (ligament that connects the patella to the femur) Partial MCL tear Lateral miniscus tear Gastrocnemius tear (calf muscle tear) Tibia fracture Femur fracture thru growth plate, which is still open The doctor is very concerned about blood clots and compartment syndrome, and we are waiting to hear what the next step is. No doubt, it will involve some serious surgery, and a long, brutal recovery.
  18. Maybe for some of y'all. Woodson's arrogance and sense of entitlement will be his legacy. Good/great player, entitled $20M waste as a coach.
