I love hating Notre Dame because of their arrogant and stuck up fans (many of whom didn’t even go to school there), but I fear that they’re actually legit this year. Would love a first round game there though.

And I’m really sick of hearing about how much he (and Mike Woodson) “cares about IU. Every action he takes suggests they put their own wants and desires far ahead of what’s best for the program.

Quinn Buckner has been such a disaster for IU basketball. He needs to lose all his influence. A guy who went 13-69 in his lone season as a head coach should have zero say in our head coach decisions.

KathyC paints an incredibly depressing picture of IU athletics. All this HR talk about “consensus building” and “relationships” being what matters instead of wins. An unserious administration delivering unserious results. No surprise there. It’s way past time to get all these has beens out of the picture and let the AD do his job. At least we have IU football to enjoy until that happens. I’d rather be a football school anyway.

I get what he’s saying. The SEC is a tougher conference than the ACC or the Big 12, so an 11-1 team from those conferences isn’t necessarily better than a 10-2 or a 9-3 team from the SEC. But when you lose to a 6-6 Vandy and get blown out by a 6-6 Oklahoma, you really don’t have a leg to stand on. The SEC also only plays 8 conference games. The results on the field have to matter. We can’t pick playoff spots based on hypotheticals. Nothing about Alabama this season suggests that they’re a juggernaut that deserves a playoff spot.

Fire him the second the final buzzer sounds in our last game. There’s no point in firing him now. The season was a lost cause when Dolson decided to bring him back for year 4.

Fire Mike Woodson? I mean, it’s not rocket science. He’s clearly neither the short-term nor the long-term solution for IU basketball. He was supposed to be the “bridge” guy, but he has burned the bridge down. With IU’s NIL resources there’s no reason we can’t be an elite program. The only thing standing in the program’s way is the 66 year old head coach who’d rather get pizza with the fellas than meet with recruits.

The program hasn’t been successful for 30+ years. One elite eight appearance since 1993. We’re constantly told that we need to be patient and that it takes time to build a basketball program. Meanwhile, Coach Cig takes over the worst P4 football program in the country and goes 11-1 his first season. Winners win. The football program has figured that out. The basketball program, not so much.

The past weekend is only the tip of the iceberg. Why shouldn’t we believe the reports? They all paint the same picture of Mike Woodson. Are all these different people with similar stories about Mike Woodson lying?

If Woodson actually loved IU and cared about our basketball program then he would bust his *** at his job. Nothing we’ve heard about Mike Woodson suggests he cares about anyone but himself.

Do we have to keep pretending that Woodson is some high character guy? Everything that comes out about him paints him as an insecure, petty, lazy narcissist.

The administration signaled how little it cares about winning basketball games when it hired Mike Woodson in 2021, and it confirmed its stance again when it brought Mike Woodson back for this season. Anyone expecting positive change is setting themselves up for disappointment.

Definitely hope they bring in a portal guy to compete for the quarterback job. Maybe TJ can be the guy, but I haven’t seen enough from him to feel comfortable riding with him as next year’s starter. He’ll be a senior with only 169 career attempts.

Did Ya make Woodson late for a tee time? Hard to imagine Sleepy Mike having the energy to fight someone.

So based on the coaches poll, seems like no way Miami will be ahead of us in the playoff rankings this week. Is there any scenario we get bumped out? Doesn’t seem like there is.

I would take Coach Cig by himself over Moronic Mike Woodson.

After seeing how cocky OSU fans are in person last week I’m so happy to watch them lose.

Meh. I’m so over Woodson and his team that I don’t care if any of them come back next season. This program need a total reset. Ideally fans just wouldn’t show up to the games. The program deserves 2023 IUFB crowds.

Boo everyone. Mercenaries and coaches are both part of the problem. Woodson sucks but showing up with pisspoor effort game in and game out is on the mercenaries.

Pretty sure Woodson is hanging two banners before next week’s Sam Houston game - one for the off-season championship and then a second for the preseason title game win over Tennessee.

They better fall behind IU if they lose tonight. They’re getting dominated by a middle of the pack ACC team. Sooner or later they’ll have to admit that the SEC isn’t what they claim it is.

No but it is their fault when they spend all last season/this offseason attacking the rest of us. When they then go MIA after the team gets exposed, they get exposed right along with the team.
