  1. At least the suspension worked and Ballo was locked in during today’s game from the bench… Lol. I just could not care less about any of the guys on our team. When all you have to offer guys is money, this is exactly what you get. https://twitter.com/hoosierhystrcs/status/1873496312836227223?s=46&t=LoczziaTWuqlhvyvHGT92A

  3. Honestly way worse than sitting out the entire game, imo. I understand the injury concerns when you’re about to be a first round pick, but playing until you set a personal record and then quitting on your team afterwards is just so selfish to me.
  4. Honesty I had largely forgotten about the bowls. They used to mean something, but now they are largely meaningless with the expanded playoff, transfer portal, opt outs, etc. You get stuff like Cam Ward playing one half so he can set an individual record and then sitting out the second half when his team needs him/has a chance to win. Give me a shot at a national championship every time over a bowl game.
  5. Bet Woodson doesn’t like that Coach Cig took his spot as top dog in IU athletics. Too bad, so sad.
  6. Only a loser would come in worried about not getting 4+ years to win. It’s probably the biggest excuse I see from IU. IU keeps coaches too long because the administration cares more about optics than results. Kentucky just pushed out a coach with 100x the success of post-1990 IU and we’re sitting here worried about scaring coaches off if we fire them after three years and send them off with an eight-figure buyout. Be for real.
  7. A public firing may be the only way to fill Assembly Hall this year.
  8. Well, a couple of years ago it meant getting a million dollar raise, so we don’t exactly have any reasons to be confident in the powers that be.
  9. Dude was out of coaching entirely for two seasons before we came calling. Just a laughably bad hire made worse by IU’s refusal to cut its losses and move on before the bottom completely falls out.
  10. IU gave Mike Woodson 4 more years than any serious school would ever even think of giving him.
  11. #daunted. Idk if we’ll make it back to the playoff but I have far more confidence in Coach Cig building a consistent winner then I do in our basketball program ever figuring it out.
  12. Yeah he definitely doesn’t deserve the “retirement” cop out. Not after all the crap he’s spewed over the past four years. He absolutely deserves a firing.
  13. I’ll believe this is Woodson’s last year when i see it. That’s not a dig at anyone at all. My faith in IUBB doing the right thing is simply nonexistent.
  14. Bringing the red meat to the party right in time for Christmas! I dont blame anyone who leaves the program while this staff is in place. Unfortunately, we as fans don’t have that option and have to ride it out.
  15. Yeah, no offense to “JuJu,” but a very generous 6’0, 185 pound 18 year old is not what the doctor ordered for IU’s Big 10 slate. I’m rolling with the 6’5, 230 pound guy with 20 college starts at a P4 program under his belt. Plus the odds of him staying at one school for his college career are 0% on the high end.
  16. What an insane difference a year can make. From 9 wins in three years to 11-2, a playoff berth, and a quarterback recruiting win over Georgia. Build Coach Cig his statue already!
  17. Because like @RaceToTheTop said, Beck was almost certainly leaving after this year before the injury and if anything, this injury makes it more likely he’ll be back. Mendoza started all of last season and 8 games his freshman year. He’s not coming to Georgia to sit behind Beck all next year when he can go elsewhere and start.
  18. ? He’s not transferring to play in next week’s game. Beck’s injury is completely irrelevant.
  19. Herbstreit’s a freaking loser. Dude spent all weekend twerking for the SEC, watched Tennessee get throttled live, and then went right back to “I don’t want to hear about wins” immediately after. Utter clown behavior.
  20. Tom Brady wouldn’t beat my grandma in a sprint but he had elite mobility within the pocket.
  21. I’d actually love for them to make the next round of games on campus too. I hate football in domes personally, and the vibes are just better on campus. I think tinkering with the seeding is the way to go for next year. The first round would’ve been more competitive with ASU and Boise State playing in it.
  22. Herbstreit’s still glazing the SEC while Tennessee is getting dog walked.
