So do you also personally take issue with the multiple times Bob Knight trivialized rape then? Don't have a double standard here.

I tend to agree with this. Granted I'm not a huge fan of his, but he was a great player here who brought us our last championship. He came back for the '87 team reunion and was well received. Yeah the Pierre Pierce situation was pretty bad, but that aside, I'm grateful for everything he did for IU. I don't get why such a large portion of the fan base wants to flat out see him fail. It's weird.
-
He'll probably be best served by going to a mid-major, but if I was the AD at a school like Penn State, Illinois, Nebraska, or Minnesota, I'd probably give Alford an interview.
-
I think if you're Iowa State, being top 4 in the Big 12 pretty consistently is definitely good enough. He's a really good coach, and if I was UCLA, he'd be on my list.
-
Yep unfortunately I'll be missing this Sunday's IU game. GO BEARS

I honestly had to stop watching that game because the booth reviews were just unbearable. I think every clock stoppage brought a booth review in the final minute, then that inadvertent whistle and the subsequent review just was too much.

(2019) PF Trayce Jackson-Davis to INDIANA

Not having a shot clock is one of the most antiquated things in all of sports. They need it bad, even if it's 45 seconds. -

Yeah for being labeled a "scorer", he unfortunately doesn't shoot too well yet. I love Romeo as much as everyone else, but wonder if he'll fall in the draft if he doesn't improve his 3P% of 21% and FT% of 69%. Yikes. Hopefully Romeo coming back for a 2nd year wouldn't hurt our image with top recruits, but I just love the idea of throwing him in at the 2 in a lineup with Trayce and Brooks. Keion at the 3 with Romeo at the 2 and TJD down low would be so incredible. -
If we were to leave Adidas. Who is your pick?

lol exactly. Those "middle-aged white guys" are probably responsible for over half of all discretionary spending in this country. -

Well at least there's some decent time for Rob to recover, given we don't have any challenging nonconference games left. -

Hopefully Memphis just implodes this year -
I could totally see Bryce Drew at Purdue if they can Painter. Vandy is actually doing pretty well despite losing Garland (gag), and it probably wouldn't take much to try and bring him back to NW Indiana. But would the Purdue fans/admin tolerate a guy who is clearly throwing bags of money around?
-
I wouldn't worry about Damezi sitting down in the locker room in that celebration video. You can clearly see him running onto the court with the rest of his teammates after Rob's shot went in, with a huge smile on his face joining in that celebration.
-
It's to the point where some of their fans honestly think they're Duke because they're a small, private school.
-
So glad we got this win, and even happier we did it in front of Purdue fans on a day they lost.

Don't 2 different players need to actually put their hands on the ball to have a jump ball called?
-
If you took Edwards off of Purdue, they would basically be Illinois.
-
Well he said he won't be at Kentucky for more than 10 years. Pretty sure he started coaching UK in 2008 or '09, so his time could be coming. I'm wondering if the Bulls make a run at him.

Scary stuff in this article below. If you remember former Clemson RB CJ Fuller, who died suddenly from unknown causes at 22 years old in October, this snippet may be of some relevance here: The 22-year-old former Tigers running back died from pulmonary thromboembolism and deep vein thrombosis, Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley said in a release. His death on Oct. 3 came exactly two weeks after he underwent surgery on Sept. 19 to repair a leg injury. https://www.thestate.com/sports/college/acc/clemson-university/article222953495.html I'm not sure if DVT was ever officially disclosed as Jerome Hunter's injury, but man, hope he doesn't have to worry about this.

Carsen Edwards isn't even in the conversation for B1G Player of the Year as of right now. Purdue isn't that good, and his shooting percentage is awful.
-
Goodness. If there are any attractive girls at Purdue, they sure don't go to basketball games.

Just gotta worry about getting Ws under our belt right now, and worry about improving later as the season goes on. Lot of time to figure things out. -

Awesome win! So happy to escape with a win on the road. 2-0 in the B1G with a nice potential 3 game win streak against University-6 on Saturday.
