  1. I've never looked forward to a Monday so much in my life.
  2. Zeisloft's stats weren't that great before he came to IU, and I think everyone would agree he was a valuable addition.
  3. Why would Juwan not want to play with Romeo? That doesn't make any sense.
  4. I can't wait to rub this in to all my Vandy fan friends. lol who am I kidding. Vandy has no fans.
  5. I'm just wondering how we take Hurt in the 2019 class. I feel like we'll probably already get 2 of Watford, TJD, and Brooks, plus we'll already have Moore, Forrester, and Thompson. Good problem to have though.
  6. He's been upgraded to a 5* on Rivals. I know that doesn't all of a sudden make him a better player because there's another star next to his name, but it does help for recruiting. It's huge PR for a program when you sign 5 stars.
  7. If Self has an in-home left, why wouldn't he use it? Of course Romeo could say no, but he's still uncommitted at this point. Maybe the news to come out of the weekend is that Kansas is out of the running.
  8. lol at Kansas claiming to be a victim. They're taking that word way too literally
  9. So is that the confirmed locker room design? I hope so, looks sharp.
  10. I always felt ESPN could have done a wonderful 30 for 30 on IU basketball under Knight, it's a shame they only focused on that single incident.
  11. Yeah and apparently his mom is posting over on Gold and Black, the Purdue rivals site. It's not going well, to say the least. Her posts sound about as intelligent as Caleb Swanigan.
  12. Morgan, Davis, Forrester, Thompson, and Moore are what we have down low in the front court. With the exception of Morgan, all we have are bodies. Not talent. We need talent.
  13. I wish he redshirted but I guess that was never an option. I hope he's in the gym for hours a day this summer working on post moves and putting on muscle. He won't be averaging 15 and 9 next year, but if he could at least be good for 8 and 5 per game while not being a liability on defense, that would be respectable.
  14. I know I've said this before, but the impact of Romeo choosing IU is going to be noticeably felt by full seats at Assembly Hall this year. Hoosier Hysteria, Tuesday night non-conference games against Eastern Illinois, and all through the B1G season, I'll bet we don't have too many games with half-full rafters and mostly-empty student sections this coming season. Can't wait.
  15. Looks like Romeo won't play at the Nike Hoop Summit this Friday, due to concussion protocol from his injury this past weekend.
  16. Am I crazy for not wanting TJD to reclassify? That would be 6 in one class. That's a huge freshman class.
  17. Amazing how this site is free. I get way better information here than the Rivals site where I pay $10/mo.
  18. I'm calling it, he'll set up an announcement for next Thursday.
  19. This got me thinking. I know Romeo is "focusing on All-Star games" in the weeks leading up to his decision, but what exactly is there to focus on? These games are worthless. I suppose there's a lot of PR and swag that goes along with appearing in the games though. But still, it all leads up to the play on the court, which is just a joke.
  20. I agree. Man I want Watford, but the Zags article looks a little suspicious imo. Plus he's also being recruited to Alabama, and it seems like he's basically getting recruited by IU and a bunch of programs who are willing to play the game. Meantime, Watford will have additional home visits soon with LSU, Memphis & Houston, the last one on April 17.
  21. Meantime, Watford will have additional home visits soon with LSU, Memphis & Houston, the last one on April 17. Yikes.
  22. Yeah that interview sounded pretty positive for IU imo, I'm not sure what other people are freaking out about. Just more pessimists jumping to conclusions I guess. He said more about IU than any of the other 2 schools in that interview, and I feel like his answer was more thought out: "I like coach [Archie] Miller. He gets the best out of his players and he proved that this year. Even though they weren't that good of a team, having the best season, he got them ready for big games like Duke and stuff like that. And then they also got coach [Ed] Schilling. His individual development over the summer with guards, his resume says it all. He sent so many guys to the NBA when he was at UCLA. So those two are reasons I like Indiana."
  23. Mooney reminds me a bit of Sheehey in attitude and on-court demeanor. He had a welcome swagger, for the first 3 years he was here at least.
  24. And honestly, at the end of the day, it's just freaking basketball. It's not like anyone is getting hurt or anything.
