I will tell you where we are Queen O----the Irish are going down! We have worked on our defense all week long and have had the Duke game playing on constant loop in the locker/war-room. The troops are primed and ready for battle. No way we lose this game. Notre Dame is about to feel the wrath of the IU/Francaisland Hoosiers! -

OK ---how did we end up on IUHoosier Ballers in the Pros?????? Looks like the pawns of Putin are trying to censor IU/Francaisland media--again! Clever attempt to confuse The Rebel and hide the thread! Somebody is messin' with us Queen O! And I must say---nicely done! And extremely well played. -

We expect first-hand accounts Queen O! I am sure the team will be inspired by your very presence----OR ELSE! -
Rob Johnson Appreciation Thread

We do appreciate you RoJO! Way to bring it game in and game out. He's the Max Bielfeldt of the guards----does all the little things to help the team win! -
Saw that too USPS. The Johnnies were in control much of the game. Hopefully Creighton, St. Johns and ND (assuming we take care of business) turn out to be decent wins to balance the losses to Wake, UNLV and Duke. Then let's turn it up in the Big Ten! And---I will say it again---I think we should beat everybody at home. We play at another level at home even when overmatched. That's why we have beaten more top ranked teams then almost anybody else in the contry the last five years or so. When they come to The Hall----You rank'em ---We spank'em!

I see we've been moved to the "off topic forum" again! Well excuse us for not meeting your expectations! Make up your minds--- you bipolar--- commie mods! LOL! Just because we've lost 3 battles---we're suddenly not good enough for the likes of you! You have no backbone---you folded like a pup tent in a tornado the first time the peasants started complaining to you! You can move us off-topic or ban us but you will never be able to control us...... Long Live IU/Francaisland! -

Kudos to the palace chef---the McNeese flavored cupcake was excellent--but not very filling! Let's move on to something more substantial--like Notre Dame! Major scientific breakthrough---our new Francais genetics lab has found a way to clone humans. If Queen O and King Zeller approve---we will clone MSB and start Priller at all 5 positions for the rest of the season! National Championship Banner #6 is on its way! -
Sorry Olivia--Zeller ain't walking back through that door. I miss him too--but TB looked better tonight. Hope he keeps working hard and progressing!

Thanks for the scouting reports--USPS. You've been a great addition to this Board.

(2016) SG Grant Gelon commits to IU
rebelhoosier848891 replied to Stuhoo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Ouch. Maybe he has the flu and is running a 103* fever?????? -
Hoosiers took care of business--nice shooting yet again. I liked seeing only 9 turnovers (most of those were Troys)---in a helter skelter game. Good to see both bigs play well--TB and Max. JBJ bounced back well from last game. Defense was decent at times but awful at times as well--still a long way to go. McNeese State was as bad as advertised--they could not throw the ball in the ocean! And--that's a wrap! Looking forward to checking our progress against ND!

Game day IU/Francaisland! Cupcakes all around---first one being McNeese State! Call out the palace chef! -
Agree on Fischer. I've watched Marquette a few times this year and he was their most consistent player and a leader. He would have helped us a lot.

That's treason Alaska! Stick around--Queen O will throw in a year's supply of FRENCH fries! -
I watched the broadcast of the game on BTN. Not much new to report ---but I will say Troy and Yogi played hard. That was better effort then I've seen out of them in other games this year. Bielfeldt and RoJo continue to impress. It was a foul-fest. All those fouls definitely disrupted the flow of both offenses. Lots of ticky-tacky stuff. I sure hope that's not the way games are called this year because it is maddening.

The palace looks great Queen O. Maybe the Christmas holidays will distract the peasants from the poor performance of our troops. Another cupcake coming up in McCheese--I mean McNeese State. We've had more cupcakes lately than a bakery! That will be 3 wins in a row. Then your hated team--ND. That will be the real barometer of where we stand and whether the kingdom will have to experience another meltdown---- or reign triumphantly. Time will tell. -

Well---at least we're still better than the Mastadons! -
Right now it is looking that way---Alford. We still have time to figure things out and I sure hope we do.

Does anyone who watched the game think JBJ is in the doghouse? I know he was in foul trouble in the first half and I had to go to a meeting for the second half. What happened? Did he pick up more fouls as he didn't log his usual minutes...or is Crean finally using the pine to motivate???? I am a fan of that by the way!
-
OK--I am as bummed as the next IU diehard about where we are as a team right now but there were some good things tonight too. Troy is playing harder (even if not always smarter). 19 rebounds and 5 blocks is great in a D1 BBall game and he is starting to draw fouls and make free throws which he should be able to do against anyone. 7-11 tonight on free throws. Bielfeldt continues to impress. His stat line in limited minutes is solid. 5/7 fg for 11 points with 8 rebounds in only about 17-18 minutes. RoJo was solid as well including 5/5 from 3-point range for 16 points. Yogi went off--incredible stat line--38 points on 12/18 fg shooting and 10/10 from free throw line plus 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Definitely good offensive stats once again. Radio said the defense was a little better/improving. Let's hope that is true as we held them to a low percentage but it seems we took a step back from the performance against Morehead State. As has been discussed the 17 turnovers is WAY TOO MANY. Keep working Hoosiers!

Checking back in---glad we got the W---even if it was against a cupcake. One more cupcake and then Notre Dame.
