  1. Maryland with a great start against NW.   NW not getting many calls and Maryland has them playing too fast.  This one will get ugly if NW does not settle down.
  2. Agree with BlueDevil on this one. We gripe about Crean but Painter got WAY outcoached today.
  3. And....Rick Mount thinks to himself "I should have stayed home  in Lebanon tonight!"
  4. IU wins and Little brother blows a 19 point lead and loses to Iowa!   Balance is restored!
  5. Looking good for Iowa now.  They are for real. Glad they did not get OG....
  6. Looked like a foul to me.
  7. This is not the usual Iowa team.  Their seniors are stepping up and the team is playing tough.  This game has a tourney feel. I did not know Iowa was this good.  What a treat to see 2 top teams going at it.
  8. Iowa back to within one---let's go Hawkeyes!
  9. Still no definitive news.  How long before IU knows for anyone who has been through something like this before?  Or--do you think they already know?   BTN announcers say he had a noticeable limp.
  10. The Huskers have been shucked!   Their cornfields are ablaze!   Returning to the kingdom victorious once again!   Next up----the Badgers invade BTown and IU/Francaisland!
  11. Come on IOWA! Make this a game!
  12. A new force awakens---OG Wann--Kenobi!    No longer just a padawan---becoming IU's newest Jedi.   Oladipo says hello!
  13. I agree Ranger--right now.  I did not think so earlier because of their guards but their bigs demand so much attention their guards are left for virtually uncontested threes.  And they can hit them.   Purdue will be more human on the road---but they are also going to get better as the season goes on.    Purdue is definitely back.
  14. I agree OG needs more time.   He's going to be something!
  15. Good win.  Always tough to win the first two Big Ten road games no matter where or who you are playing.  Congtatulations to the guys starting 2-0.   Nebraska is not very good BUT----we showed some toughness today and I certainly saw improvement in the defense.   Turnovers were a tick better and we seemed to not be bothered by the slower pace of the game. We actually ran some decent offense at times.   Yogi stepped up when he needed to---good to see senior leadership. Max did the same and was solid throughout.   The lightbulb for TB is finally coming on--he is looking better and better and gives us a rim protector inside.  Still needs to be more of a boarding presence.   RoJo was a NoShow for the second game in a row.  He doesn't need to try to do too much. We just need him to stay solid like he was earlier in the year.   OG is demanding more playing time by his play.  I know many will disagree but we put him in Troy's place next year after Troy goes pro and we won't miss a beat.  A front line of TB, OG, and Davis is scary good. I love OG's toughness and athleticism and willingness to board and play defense.   Juwan was solid today too.   All in all---I see signs of life and we are quietly on a nice little win streak.  The rest of the Big Ten is talking about MSU, Purdue, Maryland, and Iowa. I still have hope we sneak into that conversation SOON!   Keep it up Hoosiers!
  16. Don't know what's wrong with me---I actually found myself rooting for Wiscy over Rutgers.
  17. Game Day Hoosiers!  Fire up and let's get the W!   This one will be a war.
  18. Game day IU/Francaislanders!  Light a fire Hoosiers! Burn it up!
  19. Where you are you hearing he is not playing OlaDepot?
  20. Inside The Hall also reporting he will travel to Nebraska but they are still "evaluating" the knee---which sounds like code for further testing needed which doesn't sound good. They are reporting the right knee is the one now injured.   I hate to say it--but I wish it were a conspiracy theory as set out above. Would rather have him back and healthy ASAP!
  21. Happy New Year!  More defense--less turnovers!
  22. Nice fireworks show over the palace last night.  But Queen O---I hope you saved some fireworks back for the Cornhuskers---we're going to need them.   I do hear cornfields burn well under dry conditions.   Viva La Francais!  Viva La IU!
  23. BTN also said opposite knee from one he injured last time.  Regardless--I am fearing this is not going to be good news for our Hoosiers! Prayers on....
  24. Couple of thoughts:  Diamond Stone is starting to click---he did not look so good earlier in the year.  Here's to hoping we continue to see a similar trend of improvement for TB.  It takes a while for freshmen to figure it all out. I think the lightbulb for TB will start going off soon and if we will get him the ball he will do something positive with it.   Agree on leaving the court named after McCracken. We could always find something to name after Knight---perhaps the library since he helped raise tons of money for it.   Just for humor---we could name the press room after Knight---there were certainly a lot of memorable moments that occurred there under his tenure!  LOL!
