  1. Jordan--say it isn't so--we hardly knew ye!  (kidding)   In all seriousness--good for him. I will never forget what he did in the Michigan game. He will always be remembered as helping us get back to bowling!   I hope he gets cleared and has another 250 yard rushing game left in him this season against the Devils!
  2. Good pick-up. Welcome to the Hoosiers Ian!
  3. Are you saying he is not really hurt?   Or---his pride might be hurt more than his body?   Where's our insiders on this one?
  4. Good to see the rise to 3 star. The 9 of 11 in three pointers has been getting a lot of buzz.  That's tough to do in warm-ups---let alone in a game.  We could have another good pick-up here.
  5. Not a Self fan here....I know they win their conference virtually every year but they should with all those 5 stars. They underachieve in the tourney.  UK WEST!
  6. Go Lady Hoosiers!  We love you even when it's a brick city night!
  7. We will have to discreetly smuggle Queen O and King Zeller out of the country if it gets any worse around here.  But---it's going to be hard to disguise a 7 foot tall king out in the countryside. Any thoughts on possible disguises!
  8. As famous IU/Francaisman John Cougar Mellencamp once sang:  "WHEN THE WALLS---COME TUMBLING DOWN!"
  9. MSB is the greatest of all time---too good for a measily all-star team!
  10. We will have to double the Queen's security detail.  Alaska--how's that tunnel from the castle to the sea coming along in case Queen O has to make a run for it?
  11. Wow---even Royal Fart has gone rogue on us now!
  12. Although our problem was not missing shots---it was keeping them from hitting theirs!
  13. I guess Nova pulled an IU and had a Duke moment!
  14. Saw some bursts from CuJo too though.   Have to admit I don't usually see teams down here in southern indiana with the talent of either MV or HP. Wow!   Especially the bigs...
  15. Montverde wins---but HP was there until the end.   CuJo will look good in the Stripes!
  16. I was young at the time but if I had to pick the best "team"---I would just pick the 1976 starters.  Can't beat perfection!   However---my favorites (not necessarily based on talent) are:   Isaiah/Michael Lewis Alford/Healthy Damon Bailey Victor Oladipo/Eric Gordon Calbert Cheaney/Brian Evans Cody Zeller/Healthy Alan Henderson   Nice thread--brings back memories of good times.
  17. Alaska---hold your head high.  You are a champion.  A winner. Don't let anyone tell you any different!   It had to be embarrassing marching back from Durham, North Carolina with peasants from every village you marched through pointing and laughing! It was like being brutalized all over again!
  18. Royal Fart---you are correct.  It should be ooey---poofaw ! (Still sounds French to me!)   How's recruting going right now?
  19. Agree Wat!  They sure do a lot to MAKE SURE they have a great record every year.  Not to mention how weak their conference normally is compared to others.  I think it hurts them in the tourney!
  20. And besides:  oooo--eeee  pooooh--eeee sounds French to me!
  21. That's what we call them down here in Southern IU/Francaisland!
  22. Gotta say Zander Diamont reminds me of Will Sheehey on a football field!
  23. Yes--that HUGE east coast fan base is going to come in handy for this one!
  24. Personally--I like Diamont's swagger.  He is more than capable with his legs and with the short passing game.  If he works on the long pass---he has a shot.  I think we are counting him out way too early. Besides--his ticker is tough. He doesn't quit.  I like that in a player!
  25. I hope we have a great turn-out and turn the Pinstripe Bowl into the Candystripe Bowl!
