I personally "enjoyed" the hell out of Creans first 2 seasons. Just being able to sit back and watch player development rather than getting irate about every play that goes wrong like I was doing the last 2 or 3 seasons with Crean as it appeared the program was sliding backwards again. I have basically zero expectations other than to watch Archie put this system in place and get Indiana and surrounding state kids excited about IU bball again. That's all I want really, js to feel hopeful again. It's not a failure of a season if we just miss the tourney. Already drooling over watching a proper defense. Pairing Archie's respectful defensive with better recruits should be a thing of beauty in the next few years. TB coming back is a big deal for us next year. He had an okay year but was really not ready to be playing on the perimeter. We should quite honestly dominate with Bryant at the 4 and Davis at the 5. Used to be hardcore about this but I dunno anymore. When I look across cbb and see so many guys playing their guts out, with their name on the back...I just think we overreact to the whole thing. That was me until I found out about the failed classes and not going to classes. I could care less about extra texts and phone calls that initially started the whole thing. The players seemed like they would take a bullet for Kelvin at the time. Probably because he was covering everything up. As a coach, I was pretty happy with the guy.
